This literally broke the heart of what MoP design was. The final patch went in and nerfed a great many things that were not originally what MoP was intended to be as in prep for warlords.
Healing: Smart heals were reworked to be dumb, this broke disc gameplay and resto druid hots prioritizing lower health individuals to make healing feel more reactive across the board. Any proactive healers suffered greatly.
The healer kits in general were reworked to prevent a “bursty” healing style that was the design throughout MoP in prep for warlords which changed the gameplay (i don’t want to say for the worse, but definitely not for what people liked MoP to be)
Tanking: Capping vengeance directly impacted healers to make tanks reliant on healers. By doing this and by removing smart heals “smartness” it would completely change the encounters for what i feel would be the worse in MoP.
Hybrid classes: Utility was drastically removed from Shaman and Priest, where in ToT specifically, there were peak times for them to supplement healing in a meaningful way to promote unique gameplay. Ultimately iirc they changed this to prevent “cheesing” mechanics, but it completely destroyed the hybrid class fantasy.
General DPS fun: There were alot of nuanced things that led class fantasy to be among the best outside of legion. Specifically Warlocks losing the ability to cast while moving, the tankiness of demon form which allowed them to be offtanks (without a taunt) for certain encounters even in raid, and other similar nuances.
I’m really begging because if they break these things by putting in the WoD prepatch changes it will cause me specifically to lose most of my interest in playing it again.
