As title says. Been having to pug lately as friends are busy with work. Ran about 20+ dungeons past day. Three times now I’ve had people just be like “dinners ready, sorry!” mid +6 key and leave. That needs to be penalized. I understand life happens but don’t join a dungeon if you know you’re short on time. I get penalized, you should too. My key gets downgraded and you wasted 20+ minutes of my time.
Maybe like a 2 hour cooldown from joining another mythic+ that doesn’t count down when you’re logged off or something.

Premade groups are not going to be penalized for leaving. You chose to invite them, they left, that’s all that there is to it.
And that is absolutely ridiculous.

You invited the player that left early. Maybe you should be penalized for this as it wasted 3 other players’ time.

That’s wild, I’ll make sure to tell that to the healer who (with 14 mins left on final boss of Boralus) said “Sorry, dinners ready, im really sorry” and left the group.

Mythic+ are only doable in premade groups, premade as in you decided who got to join or you joined someone else you trust to not waste your time. in premades people could need to leave for any reason, no point to penalize. Only would be penalized if it was matchmaking.

Ok I don’t see how this is an argument against punishing people for ruining the group. You committed to something. You left early. I am penalized (key downgraded and wasted). Why are you completely free of responsibility?

The whole premise of M+ is “short time” - run it faster so you can be done before dinner then

I think the 30 min is a bit too long. I understand we all learn at different times, but the new tanks that cause wipes or slow pulls just make pug land very harsh at times. Then even worse with other leave and you have to wait for the group to fill up, only to have the same issues again. But if you leave early because time is money friend you are still slapped with 30 min debuff even if you killed a boss or two, or have spent 40 min H random dng.

Yeah how about no. It’s crappy when that happens but 3/20 ratio for leavers is not bad. Your 20 minutes is no more valuable to anyone else’s 20 minutes. Make more friends if your usual crew is busy
