Hear me out, I know RPG and earn gear throughout, but it is getting increasingly hard to get invited to groups if you do not have tier yet. I have not yet gotten a single piece of tier, leading to even less invites to M+ as a DPS player.
Please open the Creation Catalyst with it’s first charge upon the next weekly reset Blizzard. This is becoming a huge problem for those of us who have gotten unlucky so far.
What’s the rush? Looks like you’ve got a year or more at this point until the new expansion.
And then we get to chase even higher item level items yet again. I’m actually hyped for Season 4, but it is getting rough with no tier. Not even asking for free handouts, but the charges to start rolling out so I can start crafting my pieces.
I understand it’s a catchup mechanic, but the high end is already so far ahead that if you haven’t gotten any you are already being left behind 5 weeks in.
What are your thoughts on doing grimrail depot m+

I’m looking forward to it. I think Season 4 looks like it will be a lot of fun and a much needed shakeup for Shadowlands.
As soon as the creation catalyst opens, can you craft 5 pieces of tier on that same day or is the crafting itself timegated as well?
It’s one piece per week. Which is why it needs to be opened immediately.
Starts off slowly, probably one piece per week but will speed up over time. Eventually youll be able to craft a full 4set in one go, when that happens tho is anyones guess
Haven’t you heard? It’s “bring the lucky one” now instead of “bring the player” or “bring the class”. 
Being able to use the Creation Catalyst to get tier pieces also requires you to have non-tier pieces of the same type (helm, shoulders, chest, hands, legs). So far that’s my biggest problem - none of my drops from any source of content I do has dropped any of those item types, so even if the CC opened right now, it would effectively be useless for me.

Earlier today I had 4 (yes, exactly 4) leads whisper me if I got set and I said no. Got declined. One of those was NW17. Necrotic. Wake. Is it stupid? Yeah, it is. But why take someone who had THE WORST RNG vs someone like hunter who can push 100k on burst in AoE. (Yes, 100k. Saw it today).
Same boat. My IO isnt as high as yours because I had midterms week 1 and 2, but still have hella 16s and 17s timed. Big unlucky.
Once everyone has 4p the exact same amount of declines will go out.
If not you it will be someone else that gets declined instead.
The only way less declines happen is if more tanks and healers decide to do 5 mans.
You are missing the point though. We are signing up for keys that we are more than qualified to do. We are being asked if we have our 2/4 piece bonuses yet. That is the reason for being declined. The lucky are being favored.

I understand, I’m just adding it to the dozens of other reasons players get discriminated out. Be it tier, item level, covenant, class, spec, score, etc. Say you got invited because you had tier, and a different spec got declined instead because he wasn’t the right spec the RL wanted. Now you’re in and someone else gets discriminate out instead.
At the end of the day the maximum number of people that get invited are shackled to the number of tanks and healers willing to go.
But it is unironically not that much time. There is going to be a season 4 (Which I am happy about), but that doesn’t mean we should suffer through a trash acquisition method until then.
I dont think you shouldnt get it. But i think 7 more days is also not a big deal
I mean I am gonna take a break if I dont get a piece of tier this week/next vault. Theres no point in paying for my sub for 3 more weeks if it continues like this. I mostly pvp… but i like to do keys and doing 2k+ less damage than any other demo lock with 2 set is just painful. Gonna pvp to 1800 this week and see what i get in my vault and from normal… no tier = canceled sub until end of april.
It’s not 7 more days. It unlocks on week 8.
