Please no RFD tool

They are willing to sacrifice the integrity of the games authentic experience for this cause so they can have more epics than someone else.

Wrong… so wrong. It’s not about elitism. It actually is because it goes against exactly what you said we’re sacrificing. RDF was the killer of the social aspect of WoW. You no longer had to build networks and relationships, trust and respect with others, because it didn’t matter anymore. You could be a jerk, no one cared. If someone had an internet issue, kicked. No patience for their connection issues. It took all empathy away.

They want to sell boosting and gdkp carry services.

Cool you could continue to do your thing and then us people who actually want the classic wotlk experience could use RDF to do dungeons

I think you are looking for Vanilla Classic. This is Wrath Classic.

And thousands of us want the RFD tool. What difference does it make to you? Why don’t you keep using the LFM tool and let those of us who want to use a RFD tool to use it. Because you know the truth. The LFM tool is inferior and only like 5 of you would actually use it if the RFD tool existed.

People on small servers are, though that would likely be a non-issue if Blizz actually handled the 5-6 servers that needed some love and resolution.

Question:

Why are you afraid of having both tools?

Are you afraid nobody will play with you because they’ll be stomping out 3-4 dungeons to your 1?

This right here. i finally got into a Cath run on my druid (boomy) and when they found out i didnt have any AoE yet. kicked…

Either give all classes AoE (like in retail) so this is a mute point or give us RDF.

Mo the tool did not do that, it’s a tool it did nothing.
People did that and had something to blame it on.
And it was hardly the dungeon finders fault, there is a whole rest of the game, pvp, raids etc etc, are you going to blame the tool for that as well ?

If the RDF is for your server only, this wouldn’t change a bit.

One stupid thread title about something blizzard said they won’t implement will lead to another stupid thread title about something blizzard won’t add.

I can do this with M+ and control who I invite.

I literally don’t even look at people, I look at their IO score lol.

In classic I formed some groups for SM yesterday. I declined so many warriors and paladins because I wanted AOE.

RDF would have allowed those folks into my group. But if I’m allowed to “optimize” my group, I and others will.

I eventually invited a rogue, because there were no mages. But seriously, the current tool is ripe for exclusion of certain classes just like M+.

That’s a fair point. I still appreciate the struggles of manually having to go to the dungeons, or manually forming groups. I don’t know. I’m just not ready for the revamps the end of WOTLK and the Cata expac brought to the game. I really do feel like it depersonalized it.

Just wait till they want you to “link achiev or no inv” for a 15 year old xpac :joy:

RDF takes alway their control over other people. They know that with RDF everyone gets a fair shake at being in groups and can get groups rather then being kicked because they are not riding the meta.

It is a power and control thing pure and simple.

I’m waiting for gearscore to come back.

It’s already back

This can happen today with or without RFD tools. This is nothing new.
Those who want it (I don’t really care but I also won’t pretend like it is the destruction of earth as we know it like others try to spew) stated server wide only, or even reduced to a subset of servers, etc.

The most interesting parts of these argument are that classic is intended for hardcore players and not retail snowflakes but…

  1. If you don’t want to use the tool you can still find people manually.
  2. You object to only because it is disrupting your in-game boosting services, or gold selling.
  3. You’ll make lifelong friends spamming in chat - never been any evidence of this is true, though possible, not probable. Your “lifelong friends”, 99% of the time, are acquaintances at best and you make those via guilds (or running w/guilds).
  4. You don’t object to the cheating of “flipping” for PVP in outlands (there is always constant chatting/yelling in trade and local “are there any flippers on who can flip” “Don’t kill the flippers”.
  5. You don’t object to people essentially cheating being AFK on dungeon boots.

Oh no!!! :sob:

People only want to “optimize” the fun out of the game. Elitism at its core.
