i get that it’s the Shadowlands and it makes sense for the realms to be disconnected instead of 1 continent… You had to do it this way, and you did what you could with the concept.
But please, NEVER do another expansion like this with every zone separated from the others again. Something about it really kills my motivation to explore and go from zone to zone etc.
Exactly this in a nutshell. Unless I have a lot to do over somewhere else, it takes so long to get there it’s just not worth going.
I mean, if I could go from, for an example, Revendreth to Ardenweald without needing to return to Oribos it would be great. I don’t even mind that the zones are separate, I rarely would go from one zone to another on foot regardless.
They are fine imo. I like the travelling tunnel.
Also they are not instanced from one another. Except the maw.
In my opinion, they should have made Bastion 4x larger and not done any of the other zones. Sorry, non-Kyrians! Upgrade to Kyrian today and you can make friends with birds and blue people 
There really isnt much exploration. The maps are teeny tiny.
After doing a zone, I need a break. That’s why you see so many AFK’s at flight zones. Start that long flight and I’ll be off in the real world doing the dishes or laundry…taking the dog for a walk…

are they? Maldraxxus and Revendreth seem fairly large… haven’t spent as much time int he other 2 but while leveling I barely uncovered 1/2 the Bastion map so it must be fairly good size

The flight times are shorter than on Azeroth going from North/South…
Having to go back to Oribos is ridiculous. What would be a simple flight back to another zone turns into a convoluted travel system. Hearth back - walk out to riding area - mount up - ride to portal - walk up to flight master.
I’m prolly missing some steps.
If I was a dev at Blizz I would have had portals on each zone that insta-port you to each zone. Super easy and barely an inconvenience.
I “enjoy” tabbing out after taking a flight path to another zone, or to another city. Really makes me feel like I’m in the game…
Imagine having a teleport pad from Oribos back to the other zones?

I’m interested to see where this expansion goes, like how the portal network in my covenant actually works once fully unlocked. Plus how many months in will we be and how long will it take to finally get to honor 40? What is there or is there an honor cap?
