But we already determined that the common denominator was you. People have been killing the boss. You can’t, thus, you are the issue.
Blizzard never stated any of that. Going to have to find the quote on that one.
Oh really? How many people? You got some stats? Cause they literally nerfed this fight less than 24 hours after it went live - and they were some pretty substantial nerfs.
A common myth. Raid doesn’t require time, it requires timing.
In fact, for the past five expansions I play less hours of WoW as a raider since outside of doing a 30 min daily run I only log in to do occasional M+ and raid nights.
If you are available on the same time of a certain day every week, you can look for a raid group that raids specifically that time & day. Many guilds spend 2 hours per raid night - hardly a long time for the week.
How many people? I don’t know, ask the forums. There have been other threads of people saying they already killed him lol.
This is fantastic.
If you expect to make PROGRESSION, which is what people want, you will need to be able to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours a night at least twice a week, and usually between the prime hours of 6-10. People don’t want to join guilds to just “farm normal”. The understanding is you do enough normal to learn all the fights, get just enough gear and then immediately transition to heroic. A lot of people aren’t even raiding anymore - they just do Mythic+ because it’s a more consistent way to farm gear since you’re guaranteed a good piece of gear out of the chest every week. And I’m also very invested in my guild for social reasons - most guilds will not recruit someone and bring them to raid if they can only show up once or twice a month, no matter how decent their gear or skill is.
There is a difference between being an elitist and being a casual. There’s this happy medium where you are good at your class/spec (which is easy, even if you can’t figure it out naturally there are dozens of guides written by the best players in the world). Casuals are both bad at the game AND they don’t care about improving.
Variel, I’m not talking about committed progression raiders, I’m talking about casual raiders.
He says he has no time to raid. That is not true. He has time to raid casually.
Not everyone has to be a progression raider, there’s plenty of room for casually clearing Normal difficulty. (although those are usually carried by alts of progression players)
That’s nice. Then get out of LFR if you’re too good for it.
Considering we did it just fine with simply having a chat window for years and years now, yes it is. Cata and Mists went just fine with all mechanics present.
Then they fail until they learn how to work together. Which how it’s always been.
Once again proving you know nothing and just want to blame others for your own problems.
Way to just cut straight to insults and call me stupid when you’re the one who can’t seem to solve your own problem. Not replying to you anymore. Have fun raging over what you could’ve solved on your own.
So since your the one whining about lfr being too hard I suppose that makes you a causal then?
And again, no one is interested in “casual” raiding in an organized format. The people who organize want GEAR. They are driven by the loot treadmill to get better gear down the raiding path. There are no guilds with the express purpose of just clearing normal. They do not exist. They would be unsustainable because people would get fully geared on normal and leave to join a guild working on heroic. This is how it has always been.
The only way to nerf LFR is to nerf the Idiot Affix. That one aspect is harder than mythic raiding.
If you keep reply linking to each sentence instead of just the reply with a full paragraph I’m going to flag every single one of your posts.
If I go in as shadow, I am #1 every time. If I go in as Disc I am the number 1 healer AND I’m typically rivaling some dps… which is distressing.
Ooh, one last time to call you out on your bs:
So so so so SO WRONG. I know plenty of casual guilds across three servers who have been thriving for many many years just running Normal.
Admitting to flagging for no reason? Nice. LOL
Sorry you can’t seem to handle how to read quotes and a conversation. Have fun with false flagging and empty threats.
Lol you win.
Dude. This is patently false.
Look at my profile, I’m quite familiar with the raiding scene, probably far more than you who seem to only do LFR.
There are PLENTY of casual raid teams. I’ve been in five guilds across the past three expansions and every guild has had a causal night for Normal clears, where there’s minimum amount of discipline and casually go over the (relatively easy) mechanics for newbies.
I don’t think you have a CLUE on the raiding scene, or your notion is outdated from 10 years ago.
I read your name as Ahego.
