Q.Who is Raid Finder for?
A. Raid Finder is primarily intended for players who don’t already raid consistently. These are players who may not have had the opportunity to take part in raid content due to scheduling conflicts, playtime constraints, limited access to other raid-capable players, or a lack of experience with higher-end content. These players may want to experience World of Warcraft’s raid content and storyline without being able to commit to the additional time investment of a raiding guild. The Raid Finder is also a great way to quickly and easily gear up alternate characters without having to worry about raid lockouts.
This is from the official Blizzard FAQ.
It’s meant to see the Storyline and Raid content without having much higher end raiding experience.
I believe Higher End content includes Nzoth’s sanity meter especially. Hey but people can interpret it differently so I guess you do you.
In the context of time commitment. It seriously says nothing about making the boss a push over so bads can see story. It’s talking about time commitment in the fact LFR is broken up into wings.

In the post WF/TF world this level of difficluty in lfr is just not realistic. Most of the knowledgeable(perhaps more skilled too) players probably have taken a pass on lfr this patch I know i have LOL.
I mean people are killing him all the dang time and frankly I’m glad Blizzard hasn’t caved to the awful players that infest these forums, at least not yet anyway.
It literally says “Experience with High End content”. Raiding IS high end content.
It doesn’t cover any single boss. It covers every boss out there. There’s a very good reason they remove mechanics which are considered staple in Normal or Heroic. They want the players to see what content they designed.
There are 4 difficulties so “High End content” could mean any number of them.
Again, the quote you provided is only talking in the context of time and the commitment that many might not be able to provide a normal raid guild. LFR is broken up into wings, so people can see the story, without dedicating a set schedule.
I’m sorry that you are having such a hard time with this, I really am.
I have like 8 H Nzoth kills, and I wouldn’t go anywhere near LFR Nzoth.
I don’t think nerfing it will do anything, due to it STILL has a lot of mechanics. You can’t just remove half the mechanics without removing the fight it’s self.
Raiding in general is only Normal, Heroic and Mythic. Looking for Raid is not the actual essence of Raiding it’s just a mode for people to experience the content or the end boss of the storyline.
Raiding was once only Normal and Heroic which was split into further difficulties where Normal became Heroic and the current Normal is a stripped down version.
LFR is not just about schedules. It’s also about taking the casual player’s skill into account which is why you see people being tilted about having to learn the sanity meter or using their cloak.
You are just bent upon classifying LFR as a schedule medicine. I’m saying it’s for people with tight schedules AND people who have no interest in learning the higher end mechanics.
Again, find me quote that says this. So far you are just pulling garbage out of thin air.
Ok? Irrelevant to the topic at hand.
Again, find me the quote that says anything about skill and how these raids should be set when it comes to difficulty and mechanics. The only thing your source had was experience and time.
Once again, provide the evidence because as of now, you haven’t outside of the voices in your head.
