Hunters shouldnt be able to outmelee melee with a ranged attack in melee range. And if you happen to be at range to use chimera then the combo just one shots you. Between this, boomkins, and Rets still 2-3 shotting people (used to be 1 shotting) it makes the game outside of a city pointless and miserable, especially if you have the misfortune of rolling Aggrend’s most hated class, warrior.
Also feels great when the ranged spammable execute does 5x the dmg at any HP of the original, warrior execute lol.
I feel sorry for clothies. If they are mowing down plate and mail wearers… they are deleting clothies. I know my SP friend feels like the grind is a waste of time.
Heh look at all these bums crying on the forum about hunters still, this abralan bum is upset that he runs no pvp trinket no weapon chain, no pvp off pieces and doesnt use consumes and wonders why he cant win a single pvp battle. bum youre in full pve gear/chants expecting to do anything meanwhile im on my dads yacht watching imsohood destroy people on his warrior without even having ashbringer. maybe take some notes bum.

Their damage is so out of control, so OFF the charts.
To balance the game AT ALL, hunters need a serious nerf across the board.

When have hunters been terrible in pvp? which phase in SOD? which version of wow? The main issue with hunters is they arent newb friendly. But, that’s not the case in SOD. They need kill shot removed from pvp, thats a good start.
They’ve never been the worst, but there have certainly been phases where we died to dots before we could kill someone. I disagree with the second point. Even with the power of kill shot, there is a big disparity between hunter players. There are hunters that consistently wreck teams and hunters who are lucky to walk out with a positive score line holding the S key. Kill shot is a crutch, but there is still more to it than just that one ability.
Heh look at this yachtless bums like my boi mahvell said. all these beta whiner warriors crying while never having pvp spec, gear, enchants, and consumes meanwhile im on my dads yacht with my fellow bro hunters just laughing at these warriors that have no weapon chains or disarm immune gloves watching their ashbringers dissapear for 10 secs and dancing in their faces.
Dots have always been hunters bane. On classic the only class Im scared of is a good shadowpriest. Locks can i usually kill before i die to dots. Its ok that they are weak versus a class. Thats the best part of pvp in classic rock/paper/scissors.
For SOD my point is… the terrible hunters complain about deadzone. they were given more tools to help with that. traps in combat, low cd on traps, engineering, consums. Hunters in SOD have been crazy since day 1.
There is a balance to it but their vision of damage being the way out is an issue. We don’t have any escapes in this low TTK meta. Not sure if you’ve had the pleasure of fighting a rogue lately but without kill shot, we’d be absolutely free to them. Warrior would also be a difficult one with how many charges and the grip they have. By all means get rid of kill shot, but we need a way to get away from melee then.
Give them a reason to use a pet again… give them pet freedom (forgot the name of it). Like that they lose the 20% damage from Lone Wolf and nerf kill shot. =)
