Gladiator’s Emblem has slowed the meta to a crawl. Almost all highly rated games go to deep damp. Please nerf the duration of the trinket, and health-amount granted, substantially. Increasing the CD to 3min also makes sense. BM should be a situational trinket and not an every-spec-every-game trinket.
Id say battlemasters is a contributing factor, and should be looked at, but I think things like mages having monk cocoon on a 30 sec CD, and some hybrid off heals (enh/feral/boomy/ele/spriest) and conduits/soulbinds (frenzy/frictionless coating) are a much bigger contributing factor to slower metas.

Yes and no, out of the others I mentioned rets I believe are the least of the offenders right now. I think their WoG heals really start to become an issue with aura of reckoning pvp talent. Healing hands though probably needs a slight nerf though still.
enh/feral/spriest(with mend leggo) are for sure the worst offenders right now, but other off heals from ele/boomy are still really strong and should still be looked at.
Rets definitely have the weakest heals of any of the hybrids. They’ve been nerfed like 3x and it shows.
Personally, take away all healing from pure dps and seriously nerf all hybrid heals.

I’ve had a few instances that felt like BM completely stopped the go. 2 minutes does seem a little odd when a lot of core offensives are 2 minutes. perhaps a 3m cd would help desync it from the next big CD go but it’s really hard to tell if it will make a difference when people will just juggle it around for a different go and use a different defensive for the 2m offensive cd go.
Don’t forget you can’t use BM while stunned.
Also is BM alone really stopping anything? If you’re relying on BM alone to stop ago it probably isn’t going to work. Things like disengage + BM + kite is usually whats required to make BM stop a go anyways.

should be a 5minute CD with how powerful it is, that way you can still use it in situations where it’s good to play BM, example: rogue mage in 2s
with how many % based heals and absorbs exist, it can’t be this strong with such a short CD, because all it ends up becoming is another CD in an already defensive bloated meta game

they need to make the offensive trinkets better. Like your choices are rng proc for primary stat or on-use primary stat…woo fun. They should do something more interesting.
Well we are getting Maledict and the shackle pretty sure which will be cool but I’m not sure if they will outweigh BM

yes b ut i am talking aobut this season, there was no interesting trinket, could’ve made some trinket related to the theme of sin, maybe like, put a debuff on the enemy and for every ability they use while its on them they suffer dmg or something,

okay, sure. I think healing hands is more of the problem than wog… but i feel the same way about smend logo for spriest and Potg talent for boomy. a 1.5s cast for a 5k heal i dont think is bad at all for hybrid healing.
I dunno, I really dont think spriest/ele/boomy off healing is that much of a problem (aside from talent/leggo tunings) since it’s literally 30% of their mana bar, is casted, and interrupting it locks the out of their main cc & damage schools.
At least not compared to enh/feral instant cast throwing out massive heals for their team as part of their rotation while still being able to cast and not having it gimp their damage.
Ret paladin at least trades off damage when healing.
