Please nerf eranog ring

I have a 408 one thats not replaced by anything yet and sims up to a 447 ilvl rung in power. This makes mythic eranog mandatory weekly if i want to maximize dps. And i can’t even get lucky in vault anymore and the only people running that want the ring. Lol.

Its not a little gain either. I beleive the lack of primary stats on rings makes the proc rhat much better. I just dont believe farming old content fir BiS gear shoukd be necessary.

meanwhile, lots of people complain about how content becomes obsolete as soon as the next patch launches.

People have different opinions and i respect them. Tbh in my prime, i would have loved to keep farming old raids, but i have a family now and much less time for wow.

I would argue that there is a lot less people looking to run older raids based on the lack of groups i could locate.

We have quite the diverse playerbase.

it would be nice if they bumped the old raid finder ilvl to the new and rescaled it tbh.

If you went all of VotI without I don’t think missing out on it for the new raid is going to be a major detriment.

I never said it was. But it is certainly going to be a minor one, and there are a lot of people that will do everything they can to squeeze the most DPS out of their characters; to push the limits. If you don’t understand, that’s okay, but you don’t need to push your opinions upon others.

Nah. I’m tired of everything becoming obsolete the very next patch. I grow weary of running on the gear hamster wheel

The value of secondary stats compared to procs changes with the amount of mainstat you have, as secondaries multiply off your mainstat.

Pass, I like the fact my mythic ring with a socket will hold me over pretty much the entire tier

I agree, my 408 Eranog ring being BiS for single target for this entire tier feels bad.

Old raid content should not remain relevant past the initial stages for the next tier/patch. It overly punishes people coming late or who didn’t do it while relevant and those types already have a MONSTER uphill battle to climb fighting with the community and their unreasonable expectations and demands to get into trivial levels of content.

This… actually doesn’t seem like a bad idea? People might gear faster than Blizzard would like (I guess) but it’s mostly low tier anyway, and it would keep the current expansion raid tiers relevant, since you have a reason to run them other than mogs and funsies. You’d probably have to cap tier pieces as they are now still, but otherwise it might even expand the pool of worthwhile early gear.

If people want to run 2 LFRs a week… let them? :dracthyr_shrug:
