Itâs definitely not bad. Can do BM level damage, but you can shut it down. BM can do that damage while being focused and CCing at the same time.
The demanding aura these BM hunters have every lobby is sickening.
I rename my pets after each round to the players I defeated in battle, to humble them in my presence

BM should be minimally viable. You should have to do all of the other hunter stuff so perfectly that you win despite your damage being low overall, if youâre going to win.
The way you accomplish this is by gutting the passive damage that happens alongside you casting black arrow and kill command. Literally make hunterâs prey not cleave at all in PvP. Nerf the damage of dire beasts, hati, fenryr, and dark beast by a lot.
The toxic part of BMs damage is the passive cleave and the passive pet damage that is a byproduct of you doing an apm rotation designed to cast kill command and black arrow more. Make all of the meaningful damage come from single target black arrow, kill command, cobra shot, etc. so that its damage actually stops when you peel it.
Or
Simply reduce all of its damage by 75% in PvP, ignore it for the rest of the expansion, and spend all of the design and development effort into making marks and SV great specs. That would honestly be equally acceptable. Apply that to all of the other undesirable specs of various classes and just make it a known thing that this handful of specs isnât supposed to work in PvP. Just commit one way or the other and it will be fine.
Why does no one rage about Feral? I mean they are broken, and not a peep from the forums.
Yet hunters are good and 9/10 posts are about it.
It wasnât even this bad when DH was dominating arena in DF
People have been for a while, especially before BM further ruined the game. Feral is extremely over tuned in comparison to every other melee. BM is just game breaking levels of busted so it takes the cake for now.

Because feral is accepted as a necessary evil to keep druids off of resto.
I mean, this is the entire community now, though. Ever since s1 shuffle people have been screaming âdeflation deflation fix mmr!!!â Because theyre not instantly 2400
I always see frost mages going on emo trips with emote spams etc⊠than BM and feral combined
But youâre a healer, that canât be true.
At least feral takes some technical skill to play.
BM has always been a meme.
And yeah, meme specs should still be ok to play but they shouldnât dominate over everything else.

I dislike their balancing approach of intentionally making a spec 30% too strong for 2-4 weeks so everybody spam queues to gear up their new fotm until the next one drops.
Mid-season tuning patches or MMR adjustments that shatter the ladder stink, man.
I murk more people than many DPS out there, youâd be surprised
