For people who don’t play it it is useless bloat in the retail client.
I don’t say remove Plunderstorm completely, but having it as a separate app would improve stability and patch management.

Not to mention let me pretend it doesn’t exist like I do with Hearthstone…
But that is unlikely to happen. They are relying on temptation and FOMO to justify the developmental costs…
Could have invested in unlocking the rest of the race/class combo’s instead of yet another form of pvp.
Literally all the extra stuff is server side besides a graphic to select the mode and a few voice lines. The “bloat” would still exist server side.
you can que on a character via pvp lfg in 0.7
And for people who do play, downloading a separate install for a once or twice a year event seems excessive? Would you want a separate install for Remix, too?
Wait actually? No way, that’d be pretty nice! Don’t get my hopes up!
The problem was that we had to download multiple patches for Plunderstorm when it went live.
When you play retail only and not Plunderstorm then why get bothered with patch downloads you don’t need?
Several guild mates did not make it to our raid in time because of another Plunderstorm fix blocking the start of the retail client.
