World buffs are getting more and more rare as the game is slowing down. I maybe see 3-4 dragonslayer/ZG buffs a day now and I play on a pretty high pop server.
pls give us hourly buffs like the chinese servers so people can finish out their classic expertise
This seems to be a wise decision for classic servers and era ones moving forward
I tried a topic like this before and it was infested with #nochanges crowd. I think the most reasonable change would be to let Ony/Nef become repeatable so you could turn in head again. Obviously any additional time will not include any quest rewards, just the buff.

Yeah, I don’t see the issue when TBC is going into beta soon, people are mainly reclearing. Buffs are so rare and not fun to get anymore.

Anyway, I’m not going to scream “no changes”. I will state a couple of things:
China’s version of WoW has ALWAYS been “different”. They have the WoW Token in Classic. Their Death Knights are called Fade Knights. The Undead are known as the Forsaken. All the carcasses out in the world are replaced with bread. Just because China does it, doesn’t mean we have to follow suit. inb4 “dOeSn’T mEaN wE cAn’T, eItHeR”, that’s not the point.
Blizz’s stance on “#somechanges” is more about balancing the game out as opposed to adding in a bunch of QoL features. I don’t think getting WBs, as we please, falls under that category.
Edit: This video (talking about drums but reveals more info than just that) supports what I just said.
Ah yes, Let’s make the game more awful for people that want raid and wanna sit in major citys for hours at times for a ninja drop or wait for a discord ping for hours at a time. Getting one idea from china that isn’t bad and helps the game as a whole when people are quitting left and right doesn’t seem so out of the question. It’s not like I’m asking for wow tokens or that flask thing they have going on.
No changes is a meme/ and people that parrot it as a reply are trolling at this point. Game coming to a end, let us raid without spending more time getting world buffs than raiding its self.

I’m stating I don’t think people quitting are due to them quitting because of lack of World Buffs. I’m sure for you, it’s inconvenient. But, like the video (of Blizz members talking) their “#somechanges” is to balance out the game. Your want and desire doesn’t meet that requirement, I’m sorry. Accept it and move on.
I have. Still doesn’t help me reach max level, in an instant. I level fine with or without it.

It’s a console command, you just type it in game and restart the client. Every single thing the Chinese client has, we have. That’s because there is no Chinese client, it’s just the client. That’s why people freaked out when the token icons were datamined, because we have them on our client too.
People have this misconception that NetEase does whatever they want with WoW in China, that couldn’t be further from the truth. NetEase has a license to operate, not a license to mess with the client and IP.
The reason for #NoChanges is to preserve the authenticity of wow classic, but as the landscape changes, if a change is required to actually preserve the authentic experience of wow classic, i say go for it.
That’s crazy talk.
Just make the buffs permanent for everyone.
When you say “console command” like a video game console? Sorry, I’m a bit ignorant to certain terminologies because some (not all) use them, differently. I don’t consider the Computer a “console”. So, what I’m asking is I can type that command in the game (on my Computer), right now, and it’ll show up?
