Please make the story better - let Turalyon lead a crusade against the horde

The Alliance is over-due for a villain arc but because Blizzard completely fumbled BFA and Shadowlands it’d easily take two expansion cycles just to set the ground work.

And it’s not like there’s any shortage of points to pick at. Tyrande can have simmered down since Shadowlands but still be a hot head asking point blank why the Night Elves are still shacked up with the Alliance when it’s been an all-give-no-take relationship since '04, never mind the idea of taking orders from humans. Night Elves work best as reclusive jerks who don’t leave their land unless there’s a very good reason and who are prone to talking down to everyone except the Draenei- and even then, only when it comes to areas of expertise the Draenei have them beat at.

It’s always been a problem that we’re constantly told that the Humans have a political sphere involving nobles but excluding a single fake noble- Katrana Prestor AKA Onyxia- we’ve never really been told anything about it. You could start fleshing that out.

The plot hole concerning void elves, draenei and light forged draenei could also be explored.

Really there’s plenty of options here.

And Blizzard takes none of them.

Again and I repeat myself, the Alliance cannot be the villains because that’s the Horde’s identity. Alliance are the Heroes, Horde are the Villains.

I’ll see you in a few years when we end up killing Yrel for being a Warhammer 40k advocate for the Holy Light.

Yrel isn’t affiliated with the Alliance. She assisted them but is ultimately a third party.

Anyone who thinks this is stuck in the days of Orcs and humans, Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal. It is time that Alliance got smacked with the villain bat so the children can finally realize that heroes are what you make of them.

Draenei is Alliance race. Yrel is Draenei. Affiliation given recent expansions hardly matters anymore outside of PvP.

Yrel would also offer a dynamic for Turalyon given they are both Holy Crusaders.

This would NEVER happen.

Someone else made a thread about this awhile ago. Turalyon is a noble from Lordaeron. He was the Supreme Commander of Lordaeron’s forces.

Turalyon is going to march up to the Horde, get to the gates of the Undercity, go to cleanse the city and then be awestruck by some Light-infused woman who walks out.

He’ll ask her who she is.

She’ll tell him.

And then he’s going to bend the knee.

the alliance hasn’t been unambiguously good since warcraft 2
and even that’s kinda debatable, orc camps and all.
The Horde as a whole hasn’t been evil since the first Warcraft game

You wanna lose that badly, do ya?
