I earned the appearance back in Legion, which was cool at the time. It’s been 7 years since the mage tower closed for appearances and it’s more than time for them to become obtainable again. I really only think stuff should be hard locked for an xpac or two so people can show off their accomplishments.
Ultimately if the pinnacle of your achievements was completing the mage tower 7 years ago, then you have failed to grow as a person.

I’m wishing that they would at least, at the very least, see how so many people are reacting to this decision and then maybe reconsider with some sort of compromise… Your idea sounds fantastic, but this has really blown up in their face at this point. I wasn’t expecting this at all.
What a letdown. I was so happy, even if it were only a day.

I’ve got about 120 rounds played this season - definitely have some improving to do, and require some time to do it. But sure, grasp at whatever you can to try and insult me I guess. That won’t let you keep the skins you didn’t earn.
Edit: just realized that you’re balance, which is the 342nd spot. Nothing to scoff at.

This is 100% the reason im playing Legion Remix… Hoping the sparkle cat comes back… In that recent bug, i saw the bear forms… but the Sparkle Kitty did not unlock

They should just add a fel themed sparkle cat to remix. i don’t think anyone would complain.
giving people the forms “accidentally” then taking them away is kinda messed up, so hopefully they do something extra nice for the players trying their game mode that are sad

Keep in mind, they did give us a re-colored Pandaren Phoenix mount for free in MoP remix…that was a silver level challenge mode reward also promised to go away.
I don’t see why they can’t re-color a skin or two for the Mage tower too.
I do think re-colors are overall bad if they begin to bloat a system (like mounts), but, if we’re going to be consistent, then they should consider it. There’s lots of rewards in Remix, but they’re very lackluster compared to MoP - so I do think they need to do something with artifact skins, especially for the druids.

Fel-werebear is proof people won’t be happy with recolors. Most of the mage tower color tints are the good colors like blue, red, or green.
Adding them to remix is a colossally stupid idea as well. “FOMO BAD” but add them to a limited time event, how does that make sense?
It’s proof that recolors are not a permanent solutions. The permanent solution to the best forms in the game being a decade old… is continued innovation.
But yea, some recolors would take a lot of pressure off blizzard to start building new druid forms. For a while. And “return to Legion” is the best time to do it.
But really, instead of giving us recoloring the forms of a decade ago a better solution is brining out new forms with each year. Warrior and priests get a new look with every tier. Each dungeon drop or tier set expands the palette by which most players paint their war face. But Druids, we’re still wearing skins from vanilla.
Build Tier forms for Druids. Or at least an imaginative, impactful new form with each expansion. Maybe let us collect forms in the real world, like hunters collect pets. Or give us glyphs that can change the color of FelBear to ice blue, fiery red, or void violet. Maybe perma-illusions to change eye colors or add a sparkle or smokey mist to our forms.
Let the changeling class change their war face the way other players do. Give us TierForms.

I couldn’t agree more with druids getting new forms with every tier. The real problem was never the mage tower transmogs being limited, it’s that they haven’t had enough NEW class themed transmogs available. 2-3 new forms an expansion shouldn’t be a huge ask.

to be fair, they’ve been done with exclusives for years. we don’t get anything even close to MT or challenge mode flavor cosmetics anymore. The only ones that remain consistent are the PvP rewards (for elite sets and gladiator mounts).
Not sure I like that too much, because now we just get Trading post stuff (which is nice, but not unique). I’d like to just see more challenges added every expansion, so that everyone gets a piece of the pie if they want to participate in said event.
People like these forms because they are unique - not only for the looks. I think it’s important to acknowledge that truth if we want to find a real solution.
Like I said before - no compromise means no change. FOMO andies and the pro-exclusive players have to agree on something for us to speak loud enough for Devs to change something. Otherwise it’s just a dream imo.

Exclusives offer no tangible benefit besides driving FOMO and padding the egos of dudes who really need to Touch Grass.

^ that’s my point. The more shade we get from players like you, I think the more careful blizzard is to go back on their word and hurt anyone’s feelings or break promises.
You can say the same for either side of the discussion.
Call it shade if you want, but pointing out that bad developer decisions are ego driven is a part of the conversation. Go talk to a therapist about it.

I don’t think they’re bad decisions, and part of me is happy you aren’t getting what you want. Keep at it and have fun with that though - gonna get really far with that attitude for sure!
