Please make the Legion Mage tower druid forms obtainable again

You quoted the best response to your first point right under your first point! Having a few extra wand transmogs if you’re a bear Druid, is like an elephant having many bow ties. They are irrelevant because they are useless. They don’t fit and can’t be seen even if they did.

And you know that. I’m ignoring your meaningless fact because it’s meaningless.

Flattered you’re looking up my parses though (always nice to have fans). Looks like I got down 282 raid bosses this tier. Yea, I run for fun and so have many messy parses. I’m good with that but probably should check stats more than I do. You don’t seem to have played at all though. Unless this is just your trolling alt.

But seriously “no one” looks at their armor in game? Then why would we have transmogs at all? I do. I spend a lot of time in game. 150 timed keystones this season…? (Maybe I spend too much time…)

Try it sometime. Play the game, run a dungeon or LFG. Roll a Druid cat or bear to see what it’s like for the changeling class. If you get into it you might start to see why some folks get attached to their characters and start to pay attention to how they look. Transmogs are kool, they let you make your presence in game more unique, stylish, and personal. Just harder for Druids to get the same joy out of it when we spend 90% of our time in one out of 30-26 cookie cutter forms.

And Allan, try to be a little nicer on the forums. Trolls should be a race, not a class.

You should try and keep up. I have a druid, with all of the forms unlocked. Sorry, they’re not coming back. Not actually sorry. Again, ask for new forms.

p.s. no idea why you think my name is Allan, but have fun with that. I do enjoy the irony though… I’ll point it out cause I doubt you’ll get it otherwise.

Guess which class also has roles where they see their armor all of the time. rofl.

But you post about it on a priest alt that seems to have never entered a raid or dungeon…? (reminds me of the geeky guy at work who never goes on a date because he has a super-model girlfriend no one has ever met… who lives in Europe)

But OK. You’re a swole Chad. Whose toon is real but “not coming back.” Good for you!

All of them? Well except Druid. Where even that one resto spec that doesn’t become a tree still pops bear, cat, and travel forms.

Dracthyr looses a lot of their armor when they go dragon too…

But if you’re trying to say that Druids who give up tanking and melee dps can visit their transmogs more… yea ok. Why is this relevant?

This works… but I think it’s doubling down on the original mistake. You see how KSM and KSL rewards are getting more subtle than dramatic?

I think blizzard has caught on that elite rewards should be visible but not fundamental. They want folks to feel proud of those really hard achievements and wear them with a slight glow or color tweak, but they don’t want folks who missed the season or didn’t hit that level of achievement to feel like they’re playing a lesser game.

That was the mistake they learned from the mage tower. The failure of the mage tower wasn’t that it was too hard or that it existed for a single expansion… that was the good part of it. The problem was they added something that dramatically affected player experience, then took it away with the changing of the seasons. Leaving the next generation feeling they were playing a lesser game.

Thats the difference between FOMO and excitement for a good season. Are the opportunities ahead as plentiful and impactful as the ones behind.

Swole bear is in the game. And Bliz screwed up by linking it to a seasonal event. There’s no perfect way to fix what’s been done, but a good way to move forward exists. Leave those models to the folks who earned them, but build recolors into the road forward. Overtime the bad FOMO of mage tower will be forgotten.

This doesn’t solve the real problem though. What made swole bear and sparkle-kitty so impactful that it seemed a must have and sparked this whole debate is the scarcity of transmogs options for Druids.

In a MMO folks want to grow and change. They want to personalize their experience and show their history on their face. Transmogs gave us that opportunity in WOW, but Druids (mostly—gotta say that for Allan) don’t get that part of the fantasy.

The shield from molten core, the sword off Deathwing, the helm from the firelands, or spiked shoulders off Rezan—warriors and priests build their characters with their conquests and wear their history.

Blizzard, give that same kool experience to the changeling class. Let us make our toons personal, memorable, individual, and let us carry the scars and achievements of twenty years in this virtual world.

Let us collect, customize, adjust, express in our Druid forms. Hair dyes, armor peek through, dragonmount-like modular skins, back piece collectibles, weapon enchants on our claws, glyphs to change combat moves, illusion glows for our skins, tier forms, fist weapons as claws… open it all up and let players explore.

You sound like you’re the fun one in the friend group.

…If you have friends.

Nah probably none. Friends are too exclusive for them.

Yea, I never understood why we got FelBear but not FelCat. Maybe 'cause folks were still thinking Claws of Shirvallah would come back.

It was to appease all these people Crying about the Original Mage Tower Werebear Form, its skeleton was unique to Druids at the time. So Blizz caved on that part.

Sparkle Kitty’s Form Visually may be unique but the Skeleton isn’t and is shared by all the other Cat Forms.

I think I remember a blue post about this long ago basically stating that.

The idea that people should have assumed Blizzard was lying, which suggests people should always assume Blizzard is lying whenever they announce anything, is not as convincing an argument as you seem to think it is.

My feeling is that now that Blizzard has killed RBG’s, they should permit those who have not unlocked that tint to do so by winning BG’s on the original character at whatever is the level that character is now. If it hasn’t leveled, just queue until you get those wins.

Sorry you didn’t play back then but, no.

that would be so nice. i spent a chunk of season 1 gearing up for pvp and then having to get 11 blitz wins only to be reminded i did the mage tower on a different druid that i havent played since legion so now i have to do it again. just 10 bg wins would be so much quicker and less of a time sink especially when i dont like pvp. i can be on a 3 game wining streak and just dominating in games and still not be having any fun.

this would be really cool but blizzard hates ferals

they actually did explain that. They said that because werebear form was such a unique form (as far as skins go) that they felt there needed to be another option to obtain it.

The sparkle kitten was just an effect on an already existing skeleton, so they kept it exclusive for that reason. something to that effect.

(not saying i agree, but that’s what I remember reading).

Exclusivity is killing games

I have most too and think the same. FOMO is rotting this game faster than mycelium eats dead animals. At this point there is probably over half the games collection that is removed and unobtainable. Its like entering a shop and having half the stuff gone

This sucks so much, I’d like to play as a Druid of the Void but the only purple shiny form is not available.

This has to be one of the dumbest statements to ever get posted on these forums. The game is over 20 years old…

I agree…we already have the ability to add the sparkle effect to our characters via the enchanted dust…just give us a perma enchant please, one with different colors! thank you blizz!

i like my pridemother purple tiger appearance anyway, but to have it sparkle would be great! then i wouldn’t even care if the MT skins are exclusive or not!
