Please make soloing an option for Dungeons

Earlier, it would’ve been cos they scare me and rather than get kicked out or pull others down, I’d never participate. Then I gathered up what little courage I have, made a bunch of alts and started Dungeons from 15, mostly progressing only through them. I haven’t yet hit 120 on them; my highest is also a hunter at lvl 113 in Stormsong, questing while waiting for a group.

But that’s the problem.

Cos the wait time is way too much. All my alts are dps , which means I wait a long time. Sometimes as much as over an hour. It is depressing. So please … Blizzard, make the dungeons solo. Raids, too if it can be run alone. I’d love to do it in a group. It’s fun. Every time I get an invite to run another dungeon with the current group, I feel I’ve accomplished something; since it shows I probably ran that dungeon satisfactorily. But it’s too little, spread out too thin imo. :frowning:

Go ahead and do it. Couldn’t care less.

Yes i hope the tank and healer start playing with AI.

Please do this Blizzard.

I fully endorse soloing current dungeons.

For fairness though they would have to lower the quality of the weapons/armor drops though.

I have noticed alliance has much longer queue times for dungeons (for obvious reasons), if you want shorter queue times you will have to learn how to tank or go horde.

Yes, the wait times for healer and tank are way less. But my capabilities are not yet up to tanking or healing for that matter. My priest and Shaman and Monk are all dps.

Solo’ing is an option for any dungeon. Doesn’t matter if it is Freehold or Ragefire Chasm. Just walk right in without a group.

Um no. I dont agree with solo dungeons. I do think while leveling and normal dungeons at max should be doable with all dps, or whatever is in queue. Only heroics, raids and mythic should have the classic trinity.

I tried of course, I died before I could make even a small dent. Couldn’t do it at all.

im typing this as im soloing a RAID

I Actually would like to see a challenge mode for dungeons that is a solo play event. Tune down for single player runs and remove all loot from instances. Max level only of course, still gotta level in the world if you wanna play solo. Could provide cool weapon and armor Xmog from completing them in certain times like the WoD challenge mode gear.

Which one?

I did that in the very beginning at the Deadmines. Was so surprised how quickly I got stomped into past.

I thought, “Jeez, Diablo 2’s dungeons were a lot more user friendly”.

Make friends and join/start a guild, run with them. This is a MMORPG not an RPG. It wasn’t made to be solo.

Making this game more solo friendly would be a detriment to the game and it’s lifespan. Blizzard needs to bring this game back to what made it fun to play in the first place. That is playing with friends and having group experiences that were memorable. Walking into a dungeon alone to collect loot is not memorable.

AI Tank option maybe, but not full solo dungeons. There will always be too few tanks queuing, but plenty of dps.

Dungeons are soloable as soon as you have the gear to do them. Raids become unlocked fully as solo content once an xpac is past, prior to that all you need is a single friend to partner with to unlock the door to get in. Of course you still need the gear and skill to solo a raid at that point.

Other than that, this is not star wars where you get a drone robot with super powers to play Tank/Healer & DPS to be your whole Dungeon or Raid party.
