For Fury, I don’t think prot or arms have any access to it.
Given the shift to classwide abilities, I would be legitimately shocked if piercing howl wasn’t baseline for all warriors in 9.0. Or removed altogether, I suppose that’s a move too.
Yeah, I rather have PH as baseline.
Whoever is the Class lead for Warrior at Blizzard is super bad at their job.
Shield Block for all specs…Yeah, that is so useful. Even in PVP, that isn’t going to do anything.
Challenging Shout?
Realllllly? Warriors having AOE threat problem in retail?
Like when the eff will Challenging Shout ever be useful? Every class has a panic button, so even if they aggro pull 15x adds, they will still be okay until the next TC CD is up.
Those were examples of abilities returning and expanding, it wasn’t a comprehensive list. PH stands a very good chance of going classwide.
Yeah, but boy, they showcased the worse abilities for warriors to expand across spec and bringing back “iconic” skills/class identity.
No one cares about Shield Block, that isn’t iconic at all beside Prot spec. Prot Pally has a similar ability in Holy Shield.
They talked about aura/curses, but zero mention about Banner. Already said that stances aren’t coming back.
So yeah, I highly doubt PH will be baseline. It should though since AOE slow is a nice utility to have in M+.
Warrior class lead is going in the wrong direction. At least Shattering Throw is back…but still, the idea of having prot abilities as baseline for every spec is disgusting.
Blizzard has one chance to hype/showcase their idea of unpruning, but they failed badly for warrior in this case. Other classes look like they will have a great time next expansion though.
