Please make Midnight from Legion fly. I do not understand any reason why it shouldn’t’ as it looks exactly like the warlock mounts that have no issues taking off the ground.
Blanchy too. It’s a freaking ghost. Make it fly

They’re different. Midnight is the same as the vicious bonesteeds. The wrathsteeds aren’t wearing those heavy coats. That’s why they can fly.

OG Midnight could fly, dunno why they didn’t extend that to the new one in Legion.

That’s if they’re not bugged. Last time I tried to use them, the animations were screwed up. Again. For like the third time.

Actually, the original Midnight mount (Fiery Warhorse’s Reins) cannot fly. It’s a common misconception because the Headless Horseman’s Mount looks very similar and CAN fly.
Unless you mean the NPC version, in which case I can’t remember if he flew or not. But I don’t think he did.

Which is also dumb because apart from the fangs, color scheme and a skull decoration they’re the same.

Agreed - one of the reasons I was so desperate to get the Headless Horseman mount was because I wanted a flying version of Midnight.
I think it’s time they did a pass through and added flying to a few mounts - Midnight, Fiery Warhorse, the Nighthold Infernals, Blanchy, the Emerald Dream “Dream versions” of the various Dragonflight ground mounts, etc.
Sinrunner Blanchy already flies, actually, unless you’re talking about another Blanchy I’m not aware of.
Also has dynamic flight come TWW if they keep it is, prancing through the air.
Can we add the warlock’s Dreadsteed to that list, with red wings ala Tyrael’s Charger.

Oh, that’s probably very true. I just remembered seeing someone mention it either in this post or another recently and it somehow went into my mind as one that couldn’t fly.
But that’s almost certainly true, I seem to distinctly remember flying around Revendreth on Sinrunner Blanchy xD
Well with over 400 mounts getting dragon riding, they can at least extend some love to these badass ground only mounts. Dont see the point to any ground only mounts with 2 versions of flying at your fingertips.

I prefer ground travel while adventuring and using a ground mount keeps me firmly on the ground. Using any type of flying mount in uneven terrain has me up off the ground and having to land continuously. It’s a huge pita in places like Azsuna.
On top of that, I have close to three hundred mounts and giving each character a ground and a flying mount allows me to double the amount I use, and therefore enjoy, while still ensuring each character’s aesthetic/theme/identity is kept. (Each character also has a dragon mount for zone to zone travel for this reason but I digress.)
