I would be so grateful if camouflage was a core ability for all three specs and not a talent. We are hunters, with camouflage and traps and such. Please consider reverting the decision to put camouflage in the talent window and instead make it a core ability for all of us.

camo is just useless as a talent. it didn’t have much use as a main spell since any damage broke the effect and negated the heal but it could at least be used to get around mobs and a pseudo night elf racial in pvp. infinitely more useful baseline.

It has it’s uses. It was better before they nerfed it to only start the CD when it was turned off though.

The best undetected stealth in the game, and it’s balanced since we don’t have the same stealth toolkit as rogues.

camo isn’t a true stealth unless you are standing still. also, druid and rogue stealth don’t break from taking any amount of damage. camo will break if you take so much as 1 damage. there are huge differences between the two and you seem to be ignoring them.

Ill take old camo back. I dislike new camo where the CD doesnt start until it ends. Old camo was awesome, perma stealth base camp in bg’s ftw.

Although it might be useful as a talent - it’s far too situational to ever really consider using in advance instead of Trailblazer or Natural Mending. The other two talents are more useful in more situations.
The only reason I would take camo is for stealth shenanigans in PvP, since Feign Death does the same job in the open world.
Camouflage should be baseline because it will never compete with the other two options… and maybe let the CD start as soon as the skill is used.

This is what I meant by it has it’s uses. Really wish I could see the looks on peoples faces when a hunter stealth ninjas the flag and not a rogue.
Camo can’t be used in combat. It is nice for stealthing through a cave because you can’t be bothered to kill things.

Well to clarify what I meant: I would just run straight through that cave and slap my feign death once I get to where I need to be.
Maybe I get the job done a different way - but it’s still done and I didn’t take a talent in the process.

I love feign death so much! It is the best. I like having the ability to say “nope” and then watch everyone else killing the mobs to get by, LOL!
I use it for dog chasing in Freehold.
i, in fact, was misinformed. i didn’t realize they made camo a true stealth and i tested druid stealth and it did break upon pulling something. i still think it would be a lot more usable baseline though.

Fair enough, but with camo I don’t have to pay for mobs hitting me.
I wouldn’t mind seeing this change, and hopefully Blizz would put a far more useful talent in it’s place.

Baseline camo without the healing effect. Maybe MM could get a rank 2 passive that adds bonus damage to the first shot taken from stealth.
Improved camo talent in it’s place: adds the healing effect, greatly reduces the cooldown, to like 5-10s.
I would argue trailblazer should be baseline as well (or old aspect of the cheetah). Trailblazer vs natural mending is mostly a QoL vs survivablity choice, it feels bad. Spirit bond could take it’s place as a talent for BM/SV (why is this SV exclusive?), and SV could get baseline bandage instead. MM could get a leech talent or something.

Since pallies are getting their auras back, I would love seeing all of our old aspects make a return. It’ll force Blizz to rename our utility cooldowns, but that’s a very small price to pay for a return of our aspects.

Fully agree with the spirit bond part, that was an awesome BM thing, then Blizz took it and gave it to SV like they took Chimera shot from MM, gave it to BM, and neutered it what it is today.
