I got a DK. And he wields Armageddon.
And I’m tired of Armageddon.
Why? Because it’s a WotLK Naxxramas weapon held together by duct tape.
I want newer prettier stuff without duct tape!
But it’s the biggest sword I can find, so in the end it has to be it 
Now, since Shadowlands is basically WotLK 2, how about a new Armageddon with a prettier, bigger, modern model and no duct tape? 
why even use a sword
just chop down a tree and swing that

Nah, they need to make more realistically sized swords with good designs on them like they used to.
It’s OK if your sword isn’t the biggest. Some people prefer smaller swords. It’s all about how you use it, really.
I agree. Couple of suggestions:
It has to be big, maybe like a whale.
Again, make it big please. If inspiration is needed think Cloud’s weapon from FF7.
But everyone knows duct tape makes the best weapons!

There are other big swords.
Those aren’t swords.
Those are compensatory devices.

Perhaps this giant spatula. Also useful in the kitchen for frosting a gigantic cake.
Farming this took me awhile
Why use nothing but swords when you could use a giant hammer or axe instead?
In Shadowlands you can transmog the artitact weapons of your other specs which means you can use some of the awesome blood DK appearances while dpsing. 
This sword big enough for ya?

I would much rather they make more size appropriate swords. I only use the cavalier two-hander because it is not goofy looking nor is it comically oversized, it’s just a nice regular looking great sword. More swords akin to the cavalier would be nice.
What is a size appropriate sword when our characters all have super human strength and can block a hammer attack from Ragnaros, whose hammer is the size of a house?
In RL wars before guns were a thing, the “arms race” was to make the longest weapon. That’s why spears were favored in actual warfare. If you can hit the enemy before the enemy can hit you, that’s a huge advantage. Giant swords weren’t used simply because they were too heavy to be lifted, but again: Superhuman strength. All that +strength from your gear is magic enchantments making you as strong as Shazam.
The cavalier two-handed for a start. As I said, it’s just a regular looking great sword that looks nice and isn’t comically large for the sake of it. I love Strom’kar but the thing looks ridiculous with how big it is. It looks less like a sword and more like a flat club.
The bigger the sword the happier the me.
