As I’m sure many would agree, the nerf to Cyclone was warranted by this point. To compensate for that, slight buffs to survivability and damage for (primarily Balance, concerning PvP for me) Druids have been granted. The first pass of changes to the Druid Class Talent Tree in 11.1 seems like small steps in the right direction to me, but I’m afraid something MORE would have to be done to compensate. Druids are already squishy and rely too much on ramp-up and lock-in to ability spamming-phases mechanics.
I would kindly suggest that an “Improved Renewal” be considered instead of “Aessina’s Renewal” being a choice node with it. This could be either “baking in” the effect passively at a reduced triggering-rate, or, granting Renewal another charge or an absorption effect.
Thanks in advance,

Is this a PvP only thing? I might suggest PTR forums or PvP forums for feedback? I feel like it’ll get lost here.

Oh!! Sorry. I shall move the post promptly!
Thanks!
Oh, just a thought. It wasn’t meant to make you move it. I just wanted to be helpful. No need to apologize. You didn’t do anything wrong.

Well, it’s not PvP only. In-fact, many Druids have complained about having survivability issues in PvE formats as well…
Also, I can’t find a 11.1 PTR forum

Thanks.
Well, this is extremely early into 11.1 changes, however it appears that the changes to compensate for the weakening of Cyclone will not suffice. They practically amount to a very few percentages of damage reduction upon shifting from Bear to Moonkin, and a few passive but not entirely significant or potent improvements to survivability and damage.
Regardless of the numbers and tuning, I DO think that overall the changes are great small steps in a better direction for the class and its specs There’s certainly more accessibility, connectivity and variety in the Druid class talent tree on the 11.1 PTR wowhead Talent Calculator! This is quite a feat, given how complex and inter-connected it was to begin with.
I’ll need to check it out. I’m interested to see. Thanks for the thread!

I’ve moved it to “Druid” anyhow, as that’s where it belongs
