When the Dreadwake first came out, we were able to buy it + the 6 month sub with Blizzard Balance.
However, ever since then, they’ve all required actual subscriptions, which cannot be bought with Blizzard Balance.
So please, bring back the ability to get the 6 month mount if you pay for 6 months of game time. It’s no different than if someone bought the 6 month subscription and immediately cancelled it.
They want the cash subs. Hopefully they will make the mount available for purchase separately in the future.

Allowing us to buy it in Blizzard Balance, and in turn, through WoW Tokens, gets them MORE money than that, because they get $20 for every $15 in wow tokens.

It does make a difference. They want 6-month cash subs. Apparently game time purchases don’t help them hit those specific targets.

I bought the 6 month sub for the mog thing, i didn’t know it was recurring 6 month. And it just renewed 2 days ago and i don’t get the mount…
Oh, and I have tons of gold for tokens…so I would’ve waited til today to get the 6 sub.
you can buy the mount with blizzard balance. the sylveran dreamer, squeakers, the steamscale incinerator, the transmog set, and this new golden ox are all available on the shop:
Yes, and I did that. But that means that I spent an extra $25 because I basically pay for the game with gold. While someone, who spends real money for a subscription - same game time! - also gets the mount for free simply for the privilege of giving Blizzard their real $$$ account information.
this is quite valuable to companies… just ask apple, google, or facebook.
Also simply for the fact that people actually paid with their actual real money, rather than just farm up a random boe in a video game and sell it for some virtual currency. I too would favor real money over virtual credit too 
You will. If you have a sub already it takes a day or two to show up as the system catches up.
Blizzard made more money off of that token than they would have from a monthly payment.

but they already do. The tokens you’d of purchased with the gold you have are already purchased and in the game.
Been using bnet bucks since Legion and tokens since WoD. Tell me something I don’t know.
Also, more people use credit cards than their checking account.

When you redeem cash with the wow token, you get $15 in blizzard credit
You can not use that credit towards a wow subscription but you can with game time
The bonuses with these 6 month mounts are for checking accounts only
But you can however buy the mount with your wow tokens as long as you got the blizzard credit
