Please Lower Cost for T-Mog!

Legion is over, and with it the ridiculous costs of mogging over the artifact weapon.

But, BfA is here, and 400-500 gold each time I want to change clothes is pretty high!

Please Blizz, lower mog costs! Or, allow us to set a mog for the slot, so that any piece I equip inherits the mog for that slot. Something, please...The cost is pretty crazy just to change my outfit.

Thank you.
They should either make it free, or change the currency used to perform the action. Something you get from a daily to encourage daily completion, or something you can randomly find from loot like "void essence" while you play to encourage farming.

Or they can make it free...

Might as well, they've made other quality of life changes like free respecs and whatnot.
Most games let you just select it for free.

The whole "tax" idea is pretty lame, there are other ways to counter inflation that aren't negative. Don't tax fun, especially since it isn't combat related. This is a game.

So...something like gold?
Why not just use a single set of transmogs for more than a day? I only change mine as the PvP seasons come, and pass when they come out with new sets.

I can see if you're changing your set 3 times a day, 7 days a week, but don't you think that's a tad bit excessive? I rarely farm gold, and if I do it's just by winning arena games and opening boxes. I always have around 100k.

And if you only change your set like 1-3 times a week, that's still only like.. 1500 gold. You make that by vendoring garbage usually.

Well, we are at the beginning of an expansion. I get upgrades frequently, which costs $$$, times 3 specs. Then there are new pets to tame, and new mounts to try out, and I want to match them. :)

Granted, the game for me is basically a dressing room app with a lot of work to unlock new items, but even still...$1500 gold for your example of changing clothes 3 times a week still seems pretty steep, doesn't it?

It's just changing how I look, for items I've already unlocked. Why not make it free, or a flat tax on each slot (IE, at level 1 it is 1 copper to mog a slot, at max level it is 10 gold per slot). That would still delete 100 gold per mog to change all pieces...or 300 gold for three specs. But not something that is actually a deterrent to trying out new looks based on some of the terrific new pieces introduced with the expansion.
i'd settle for just lowering the price down to 100g. 10g per item or so
Reduced cost with the option to complete a repeatable instead of paying. Free is more fun but the options also work.
I’m not poor or hurting for gold, but most of my Xmogs cost ~500g which seems a tad much for something purely cosmetic...it’s cheaper to reforge Azerite gear.
Isnt the cost tied to the cost of the item's vendor value?
I’m a casual that don’t have much gold so I agree the cost can get expensive.
My penny pinching technique for enjoying multiple transmog sets or just simply trying out new costumes is I always carry around a set of heirlooms which only cost 1g to mog each.
This way I’m always experimenting and trying out new looks and get a great sense of satisfaction for barely any gold.
Now when I do settle on a set I feel more comfortable with my permanent decision.
I think the main issue is that on legion you could at least make some gold on the class order halls...
in BFA everything sucks, even making gold
I change my mog all the time and it does add up for someone that isn’t making much gold. 50% off transmog cost is one of the main reason I went with a void elf lol.
