Monk is definitely a really cool class.
Unfortunately i really dislike the fist animations as they seem a bit silly.
Functionally my favorite class is monk but everytime i play it i just get annoyed at how silly it is.
I think allowing us to use our swords/two handed weapons to fight would make the monk way more intresting to play than the current setup.
more transmog. weapons not just sitting on your back.

That kind of defeats the purpose of monk.
How is it silly that a monk’s most iconic ability is using their fists to attack their enemy? It makes perfect sense.
how? real life monks use weapons!
Except the first monks in this game’s lore had no weapons, and instead trained their bodies to be weapons so that they could rise up against the mogu empire.
there is literally a master… i believe hau… who is a weaponsmaster who uses all the weapons in the game already

Most iconic but not only, and we didn’t spend an entire expansion learning about how great our fists were. We learned about two staves and a pair of fist weapons.
At the very least fist weapons should show up more in the animations.
The class you are looking for is rogue or warrior then

rogue or warrior dont have access to magic or a healing class.
i just want to use the weapons that are attached to my back.
why is the monk collecting swords if they just get to sit purched on his back the whole time.

I like the fist only look. And when I do find a new weapon for stats only I transmog it to not show up. Love my new monk ; )

id like to use my weapons.
the game lacks a melee magic user who is not a paladin.
this would be a simple fix.
Monks not only honed their fists but honed weapon skills as well. Quit arguing over a moot point. They use both for crying out loud.
I just think it looks stupid to have weapons on your back while hitting with your fists.
I use the Legendary transmog that looks like stone boxing gloves on my Monk. You only see them when he is in combat, but they look good with the cracks in them filled with lava. To tell the truth I don’t even remember getting them for him. Monks are fun to play.
I kinda liked when I had my monk have a shovel transmog and she only ever hit with it when I was using the move that slows. It really felt like the monk beat-down experience
i use the hidden fists one.
however a cool dual weilding monk would be amazing.
or to be able to hit things with a staff like monk do in real life.
To go along with this I would prefer if Enh didn’t put their weapons away for all the spells they WILL be casting in SL (Lightning Bolt/Chain Lightning/Shocks/etc.).
So they are either retarded because I’m sure sticks existed or they used sticks so I should be able to use a staff

I don’t need a stick. my body is a weapon. why would I use a puny stick
