I have been trying since BFA to get a dual-wield class to use double wrenches on my engineer dwarves. But most of the classes where engineering makes sense use 2H weapons. I actually just use 1H weapons on my fury warrior, which is kind of annoying. Also, my survival hunter is perfect for engineering, but for some reason I have to use polearms and staves. Why not dual-wield 1h axes or daggers? Sometimes the theming in WOW has the most arbitrary obstacles. So let me translate them, please!
im told smf isnt quite as bad now
this would fall under fun detected stuff
we had a 2hander in sl that was placed at the hip as a one handed style and was fixed later
I have been wanting this for a while. I also see no reason why not.
Blizzard has even shown they have the technology in the game to do this currently with legion artifact weapons.
A wind walker monk can transmog a two handed pole arm into dual wield fist weapons via “fist of the heavens” artifact weapon.
Holy paladins can transmog a sword and shield to be the two handed Silver Hand mace.
Boomkins can transmog a dagger and offhand to be a two handed stave with Staff of Elune.
Frost dks can transmog a two handed axe to look like dual wield one handers with Blades of the Fallen Prince
It’s not. The gap is closer in War Within.
Getting 1h weapons can be difficult at times, though. But the new crafting helps.
I do wish we could transmog 1h over 2h and have 1h sheath on our back.
