im 16-5 and i would love to hit 2400 in the next 30 games intead of the next 90
being 1650 cr in 2400 cr lobbies and hardly getting any points (~25) after a win is not fun, and if this were shuffle i would be getting 200+ cr gain a lobby
please let us be placed where we belong instead of making it take longer
the entire purpose of a placement system is to be placed at either a) the highest bracket allowed by that system if you win every game, or b) a ranking that leaves you around a 50% win rate because that’s where you statistically belong
i don’t just play WoW anymore and i dont hate myself enough to queue all day for the sake of queuing
you’re 2400 mmr in 21 games and that’s not good enough for you? “waaaaah me no Wanna play game me wanna be the Best for noooo reason !”
mmr being high doesnt mean all that much in terms of point gain when it’s capped around +25. i could be 1900 mmr and still get 24 points per win at 1650 cr
they should scale with each other rather than against, like every other pvp bracket
I kinda second this. I’m 2100-2200 mmr on my rogue with 25 games played at a near 70% win rate but I get like 15 points for a win

CR would rain from the sky if Disc had a stun.

Yeah it’s nice to have high mmr to make climbing easier don’t get me wrong, but its bittersweet when you don’t feel rewarded for winning those higher mmr games
I agree that CR gains being so low is pretty ridiculous, and clearly a way to just perpetuate grind.

In solo shuffle 2100 mmr with a cr of 1650 would be a huge gain

Shuffle is 6 outcomes per game, blitz is 1.
People complain about lack of participation at the top end and then ask for changes like this which actively reduce participation at the top end. I think current system is fine, you should have to maintain that MMR for an extended period to reach your goal (especially given how win streaking affects MMR).
Yeah idk blitz is already very inflated I dont think we need to see people skyrocketing to 2400 immediately. Also this would make blitz very easy to sell I think as people with 2400-2800 mmr could just sell queues, help you get wins at that mmr and you’d be 2400 in just a few wins. I like how it currently is, and I also like that it requires you to sustain that mmr for a little while to actually get up there.
I do think it has a lot of problems though, specifically the matchmaking. How can one team have pres/hpal as healers and one team have disc/rsham on an fc map? Pres just gets across the map so fast and has so much cc immunity you can’t really do anything about it, on top of having freedoms from the other healer. Meanwhile the other 2 healers will get bullied most of the game esp the priest, they cant fc nearly as well. Like being able to get a match thats 2 rogues/1 feral/pres or mw/aff lock vs a team with 0 rogues 0 ferals and no pres or mw is kinda insane. But thats why its just for fun really, there is almost as much luck going into it as there is skill, but you can still outplay a much better comp sometimes.
i think the real issue is that they’ve implemented a placement system that does not function as a placement system does in any other ranked game in existence
