Night Elves and the Forsaken start their own respective factions. With blackjack…and…
Maiev and Shandris for Night Elf Leaders. Make it happen Blizzard.
I’m loving Tyrande even more in the new book. I really hope they continue her story some more in Shadowlands. Just like we saw in the Alpha, she’s hungry for blood.
So please don’t kill Tyrande.
Have I witnessed the birth of a weapon to surpass metal gear?
The motivation of all the elves makes no sense at the end of Legion.
Thalyssra wants to protect her people from a threat that nearly annihilated their capital city. So she joins… Sylvanas? The lady who immediately proceeds to annihilate the capital city of the Nightborne’s closest relatives. There is no way in fel the Nightborne would join the Horde: except to provide the Horde access to Night Elf physique.
Lorthemar is morally opposed to Sylvanas’ actions both in Legion and BFA, but he stays? Why? It makes no damned sense either. He’s openly plotting rebellion against her lately.
Tyrande wants revenge against Sylvanas, and nobody on the Alliances understands that. Anduin wants to kiss and make up with Sylvanas, and Sylvanas wants to kill all sentient life. Why would Tyrande stay with the Alliance, when she’s a 10,000+ year old demigod, and take orders from a naive child? Again, zero sense. None.
Nobody has a more personal reason to want Sylvanas dead than Alleria. Tyrande has better cause, but Alleria knows Sylvanas’ psychopathy like no one else. So Alleria would surely back Tyrande here, not Anduin.
You know what does make sense to me though? All the Elves ditching both the Alliance and Horde and being a third faction. They all have causes to join together, and they all have reasons to ditch both the Horde and Alliance.
Throw every alliance leader onto the list, they all suck. Also kill Sylvanis, I’m sick of her twirling her mustache every 10 seconds.
You do realize if the horde has a hand in Tyrande’s death at all… Malfurion will come down on us worse then the Titan’s themselves. There will be nowhere to hide from that raging chicken. He would instantly go Berserkin form and moonfire Azeroth in half.
Admit it, you are just mad because she won’t let you twirl her mustache for her.
I much rather your race die off for ruining the Horde’s good name, than the elf who has a good reason to be angry.
At what point has she cried?
Ok just finished the new book.
Tyrande Whisperwind is a fantastic character and that is expressed in every scene of hers in the book. I won’t post any spoilers but holy crap, she is complex. You can see her struggles. She is truly struggling with being the Night Warrior but also the High Priestess of Elune.
Tyrande Whisperwind is one of the characters I really like in Warcraft. Partly because in the War of the Ancients, she was a novice priestess thrust into a leadership role during a war, but had a kind heart.
Over the years, her kindness has dissolved due to her surroundings, but that’s expected I guess. So much has happened to her people and she carries heavy burdens. But during the last few chapters of the novel, we catch a glimpse of that young kind-hearted priestess.
(I’m sure WoWhead or MMOChamp will have a summary of the novel in a day or so).
Bathroom rug.
You people have some serious lack of understanding, compassion and intuitiveness for most or all of the World of Warcraft characters.
Before you go judging others according to YOUR short-sighted view of others, you need to maybe, put yourselves in THEIR ‘shoes’ to understand why the do the things they do.
You need to stop hating on the leaders and blame the way the dev writing team portrayed our favorite characters.
If I had your attitudes, I would tell you all to go take a long walk off a short pier.
Ungrateful, petty creatures.
Has anyone told you that you’d make for a wonderful fur coat for a worgen pup?
Becomes Night Warrior, power that makes anyone save worlds.
Kills of only a Val’kyr while the one with the power of pen escapes unscathed.
Dies.
Night Elves, 2020/21.
*Sylvanas.
There, I fixed your typo OP!
Let’s stop killing faction leaders.
No shes a 10000 year old woman who has always acted like shes an angsty 13 year old who constantly proves her incompetence as a leader and walks around with a chip on her shoulder. From WC3 on I’ve never been able to stand her writing and if I have to get screamed at because she lost Malfurion or whatever else she wants to fuss one more time I’m going to scream. She’s never been a strong leader, only a Toxic one. She may be a good priestess and elunes chosen but a good or strong leader? No…not even close. Just an angsty teenager in an adult’s body.
I didn’t say that I specifically want her to die, but I do think that its possible for her to die as part of a good story for the night elves overall. Varian’s death wasn’t “spitting in the face” of the humans of Stormwind, for example.
Sadly a player character never gets the killing blow on a leader they want to die.
Looks like she lives for another day.
Leaders only exist to kill steal. lol
