Please Keep Annihilator

I’m beggin’ on my knees, Blizzard! I have a condition that makes me violently ill whenever I press Raging Blow and another that makes me mildly nauseous when I press Rampage. I can manage the symptoms of using Rampage with the haste buff, but Raging Blow will eventually compromise my wellbeing.

I’m fine with virtually all the other changes. I was bummed to see that you were removing the talent as I imagine it would play quite nicely with Slayer.

Removing that copy of Crusading Strikes was one of the best changes Blizzard has implemented so far in the Alpha, next they just need to murderize SMF…

We would just be going backwards to the point before the DF trees were implemented. A playstyle that would be largely the same across a specialization regardless of build. SMF and Annihilator are simple alterations with the potential to change how it feels to play Fury especially when combined.

I feel it’s important to preserve these simple talents which alter gameplay in a meaningful way. It facilitates the discovery of new and unique ways to play.

So they shouldn’t remove Annihilator or murderize SMF :rage:

Definitely sad to see this fun talent go away, they clearly could’ve kept it going as it was the better way to play fury from a button pressing pov for someone who dislikes spamming the same key over and over again. It harkened back to a playstyle that fury used to have pre raging blow’s introduction which a lot of long time warriors have enjoyed in the past.

Ah yes, the talent that was there at the start of the xpac is the copy of the one added to a spec mid xpac in a patch talent rework.

It is weird how people try and claim Annihilator is copy & paste of Crusading Strikes when Devastator has been around since patch 7.1.5. The OG “replace filler ability with improved auto attacks”.

And as you mentioned, Annihilator has been around since DF pre-patch.

Look, it’s the exact same situation as StarCraft and 40k, StarCraft came first - deny it all you want…

Technically the 3E 40k stuff took inspiration off StarCraft…
