Could just be a group of 3 or more queing together and kicking anyone who joins just for the fun of making someone else miserable.
It could be, but then they would face a long cooldown where they’re required to completely finish a dungeon without initiating a kick or they won’t be able to kick at all.
There are safety-measures in place already to prevent this from happening.
Could the cool-down be reduced, sure. Removed, NOPE! Not going back there again.

It sucks to be on the receiving end of it, especially when you do nothing wrong.
But you don’t want it gone.
I’d wager if Blizz removed VTK for a week the forums would be ablaze with complaints.
The player base will eat itself to hurt you, that’s the bonkers thing about it, destroying the very thing you love is lost on some I guess.
When players have had enough and decide to spend their money elsewhere, when there are only a few players left, then people will start being friendly again, when it’s too late basically.

Idk what y’all are doing to get kicked from dungeons enough to make forum posts about it. The only time I’ve ever gotten kicked was when I was drunk talking crap in chat and it was probably deserved. 99% of these “I did nothing wrong” posts surely did something wrong.
Custom groups are different than queues. You willingly joined/invited the players to do M+; you weren’t auto matched to them by the game.
When we can kick and replace underperformers in M+ then we can talk about penalties there.

It happens. It just happened to me last night. A twink and the 2 people he was apparently queued up with kicked me and the healer halfway through an Utgarde Keep for no apparent reason. Nobody was dying, everybody was keeping up, nobody said a word, etc. People just suck and think it’s funny to treat other people like trash when they are given a veil of anonymity. Nothing you can do except report them for boosting (because if they’re queueing with people they’re likely circumventing the XP debuff and Blizzard is banning people for that now) and move on with your day.
Not one word was said in party chat by anybody, so they most likely were talking in Discord and laughing about what pathetic losers they are.

If he was queued up with them, it would require a 4th person to vote yes, meaning you voted yes on the healer and whoever replaced the healer voted yes to kick you lol.

You sure about that? I was the first one kicked so if you need 4 votes then the healer was in on it and is just a liar. He told me after I got kicked that he did too and started talking mad sht about the tank so idk. Either way, I 100% got kicked for no apparent reason and the healer allegedly did right after I was kicked as well.

It isn’t a stretch to imagine you having said something in the group that no one liked (if any of this even happened to begin with) because it was something unwarranted or outright toxic comment by you. Since most of the “I got kicked, remove X thing from the game that prevents griefing!”-stories are fabricated as they fall apart after even a barebone level of scrutiny…

Because the debuff lends to people who enjoy trolling others. Believe me…there are plenty of people like that. All you have to do is get a group 3 or 4 together and vote kick others. Then you can whisper “LOL, come back in 30 mins” at them as they have to deal with the STUPID debuff. Like Ive stated over and over…this debuff is WRONG.
