I get that when it was current, it was kind of easier.
But now not only do I miss out on the summon npc event because it gets killed before I get to it. I for the life of me can’t get the last two scale matriarchs and soundless + deep glider are just a legend.
Pile this with the venting threads that go on but this is just silly.
I absolutely despise the idea of giving rares random spawn locations and times like that, they should do what they did with Sha and give it a fixed location and timer.
It just inherently feels bad IMO. Like the idea of just sitting there and farming it hrs upon hrs like some do. With a spawn rate being KIND of random just feels bad.
I’m just looking at my crab mount achieve for it ‘usurper’ and not only do I have to be lucky on getting the right few puzzles I need [the colored ones that you need], but also on the summon of depths and those 4 rares or so…
I also have to grit my teeth on the bodyguard redundancy which is so unfun.
But that idea done for rares etc is just awful IMO.
While we are at it, increase drop rates of world boss mount or add bad luck protection.
Take the mount reagants for protoform synthesis out of the raid and give those particular 2 reagants, more drop sources. Also, increase Mote drops, and drop chances for stuff in Olea cache, bring the olea cache price from 700 to 200 cyphers.
And fix Soundless too. Just annoying that they put a mount that’s 0.3% drop chance on an 8+ respawn timer. So annoying.
I have a hunter with both of those tamed as pets that rides around on the Silent Glider.
I couldn’t give Soundless away the time I tamed him. Listed a group, called out in zone, etc… and nothing.
3 of them sharing a spawn timer was annoying, especially when the same one seemed to pop up constantly once I finally got her. Think I spent 3 weeks trying to get them.
The two stingrays I got early on by accident while flying back to NewHome. From what I gather I was extremely lucky with them.
Yeah I’ll try my luck again later, but it’s definitely annoying.
The bodyguard stuff isn’t hard but SUPER redundant and just takes a long time to get 'em all to 30 or w.e which is killing my gamer-soul lol
I remember when Naz’jatar was current and flying still wasn’t earned by anyone, was like a week or so off 'till first people could get it iirc. And I saw soundless spawn twice but had no way of getting up there. If only… but now I’m having the crappiest of luck
I considered doing it when it was current but I just wanted to get what was needed for flight and move on to Mechagon.
I am down to the weekly thing in the cave, the bodyguard leveling, the puzzles and the secret stash. All of which are just time consuming and annoying.
For me the holdouts are one of the scale matriarchs and Banefather. I’m not into camping, so I’ll probably never get them. On to less frustrating achievements…
