Please increase AB/WSG honor and reputation gains on their respective weekends!

If done correctly, this would create a swinging meta that would encourage diversity in the battleground queueing population, (Premade vs. Premade and PUG vs PUG brackets), allowing players to actually farm the reputation of AB/WSG, which is currently nearly impossible, and it would create an engaging PvP environment that as of right now, does not exist. You would have less AFK bans, because people wouldnt be so burned out on taking the same mindless AV path over and over again. If you listened to your community, you would know that nobody enjoys zerging Vann/Drek for 10 hours a day 5 days a week. I know this will probably be ignored, just like those before me, but i had to try, because ive loved this game for most of my life, and i hate to see classic PvP in this state, when we have already made so many positive changes to this version of the game that we all hold so dear to our hearts.

i know blizzard has historically been mostly unmoving on classic PvP systems, but this is a very simple change that would have a huge positive outcome. When AB was the meta in SoD, it initiated grouping/premades with friends and guildies. It doesnt have to be this way, Runescape players at least get to vote on future changes made giving their community a voice. It would be nice to have a similar system with Blizzard.

Sadly, it’ feels too little too late.
Ranking is nearly over and Wsg and AB will be dead until tbc.

They’re already dead so people won’t notice but don’t expect more than 4-5 games at any one time going.

Getting to Exalted with AB/WSG becomes stupid time consuming with TBC. Buffing the rep gains now might be incentive for more players to queue, even if they don’t particularly need the Exalted gear.

WSG and AB rep grind is harder than R14. Makes no sense.

It make sense in context of the original game, not really in the AV meta.

Honor rewards should obviously be normalized in some way so that players can do any battleground and hit their weekly goals

I have 2 toons i earned Conqueror (exalted with all 3 bg reps) on a decade ago on retail and i never grinded for it. BGs really used to be something you could just do for fun back then and the rep would just happen.

Now its impossible because of the AV threadmill.

PvP participation gonna drop for sure once PvERs get their gear but there’s plenty of PvPers itching to play the game for real and likely never gonna want to see the insides of AV again until TBC that might start qeueing WSG/AB again once they’re done with the grind. Maybe cope/wishful thinking but we’ll see.
