Australia surpasses the US by most metrics, if not all of them, besides military spending. Your military budget is higher than China’s and Russia’s combined, which, seeing as something like 40% of your population can’t afford a $500 emergency and half that military budget goes straight into the pockets of the rich, isn’t something to be proud of.
