When I try to start up Classic TBC or MoP I get an error message :
“Exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION - The instruction at “0x000002528cd582ff” referenced memory at “0x00000000000002e8”.
The memory could not be “read”.
ProcessID: 15424
ThreadID: 14800”
This error first only occured when trying to start MoP classic, but now I Can no longer open TBC.
Can you get to the character window?
If you can, in the settings menu under System/graphics disable “Ray Trace Shadows” if it is not already, and Graphics API use DX 11.
If you can not, under the launcher settings click the box for Additonal Command Line arguments, add the line -d3d11
If this doesn’t help more information will be needed, maybe a DxDiag report. Search around the tech forum how to collect and post links when hosting on the pastebin.com site.
