I’m buying 5 or 6 expedient corruptions next week. I’m wondering, what gear i should put it on. I have a whole bag full of gear. I will have 108 resist next week.
I’m going for the exsanginate-shrouded suffocation build
inb4 35% crit; I’m not going for it
some things I’m not sure about:
460 harlan’s dice
or 445 vita titan shard (i’m double rolling on the heroic every week)
470 wristwraps of the insatiable maw
or 460 servo arm bindings with a haste gem
465 azerite with shrouded suffocation
(i’m running 3)
or 475 one from the vendor that does not have suffocation
465 footguards of the insatiable maw,
with mastery proc +35 corruption and a haste gem, ( dont have an alternative rn), and running one of those is good. I want to be over 25 corruption, but I hate the versitility
or 465 sand-shined sandals or some other boots with base haste
470 ring of cosmic potential,
and 475 band of the ancient dredger
or farm the 465 stand behind gain haste combo from mechagon (no idea how long that would take)
I will have new 475, 470, and 460 pieces on tuesday to add the the equation.
I’m not sure how to sim anything with so many factors, especially since +72% haste is going to drastically change how stuff is evaluated.
again my goal is to figure out which pieces to corrupt, because once I put 12% haste on it, its basically a legendary thats locked in til pre-patch
Your 470 Maw bracers are a good candidate for Expedient, I would not recommend using it on your 460 bracers as you can always get another socket from Horrific Visions Mementos. For your Azerite it’s unlikely the 475 will be better than your 465 if it does not have the Shrouded trait, however I would recommend simming it with Top Gear because if it has Double Dose it may end up being better.
I would hang on to them till you can get ideal pieces, I also recommend farming Junkyard and Workshop for the Logic Loop and Overclocking rings that provide a haste proc when attacking a target from behind, those are your BIS rings so using an expedient on them is a good idea, that would put you at 3 Expedients equipped. These Mechagon rings are by far the best in the game, definitely try to farm them from 14-15 keys.
After Tuesday when you get all your weekly upgrades your 475 dagger is a decent choice, it’s not the perfect stats but it’s the least likely item you’ll replace so theres your 4th Expedient.
For your trinkets you’ll have to sim Harlan’s Dice vs the Vita in Top Gear on Raidbots, you may need to scroll down to the Corruption tab in Top Gear, check the “Copy and Purify all corrupted items” then select 3-4 Expedient rank 3’s before you sim, since Vita is a massive chunk of haste it may not out perform Harlan’s still you have a few Expedients equipped.
If you’re a LW you can craft 470 Legs and Boots with the ability to repeatedly craft till you get Crit/Haste on them.
I know it’s tempting to try and use all the expedients available but I would try to resist the urge till you can put them on a 470 or more ideally a 475 with Haste/Crit, you’ll end up wearing wearing 9 Expedients at max cloak rank for 45 Corruption so it’s best to put them on 470+ items with your BiS stats.
