Please help me!

Hello guys i am stuck and need some help please!

I main all healers but i have decided that i would like to make an alt char for the sole purpose of doing quests & world quests for the reps (i have the word of a worthy ally at 200%) aiming to max all my renown out on this new char.

I needed a human for the 10% rep increase so i choose to make a hunter but then decided rogue and now i am sort of stuck with 2 humans, a rogue and a hunter at 60.

which class do you think is best for doing quests and world quests? I figured hunter due to pets but also think that rogues are efficient being able to go in and out of stealth (i know hunter has camo but it has a cd so not as efficient)

I am really torn and figured maybe someone could help.

I have not played hunter or rogue since BFA but i can play them well although i tried combat and wasn’t too keen on the aoe damage… i did level as assassination and loved using fan of knives though for aoe

Thanks in advanced!

For me, it would be hunter. Camouflage helps in places. And pets are nice. But I personally can’t stand Rogues or Feral druids. So that’s just me.

I’m enjoying open world content as a Survival hunter that I’m leveling right now.

What is survival spec like? I have not played it before at all

I would say for the pure purpose of Rep grinds and farming - a Hunter.

Rogues are good if you enjoy them. But they are not the best workhorses for farming/grinding. Hunters have pets and FD and all sorts of tools.

I have 2 max level rogues, I am not knocking them. I enjoy playing them. But for the purposes you listed I would use a Hunter.

it is mostly melee with some ranged attacks still and still has pets.

Silreu is correct, it’s a melee spec, where you’ve got a lot of AoE, good survivability, you can yoink yourself too mobs and it’s honestly been a lot of fun in open world for me.

Im a world content player that mains a warlock.

I find having a pet to be invaluable. Its great having something tanking for you at all times.
So i would suggest the hunter.

Unless you find rogue more fun. Fun is more important than anything else.

That is interesting i got to 60 on the rogue and went right back to the hunter, just finished levelling it, what specs would you say is best for quests and world quests, currently i am BM and have 2 spirit beasts from Zul’drak i waited at the their spawn locations to tame them and got them during levelling

BM is definitely nice for grinds. I like the two pets and ranged. MM and Survival take more focus, while BM is more chill.

My Hunter is a Vulpera and he uses 2 Lightning Paws (the spirit beast fox) and he rides the Suramar fox. So it’s like fox overload.

IMO tanks aggro the whole area and kill them

I would say that survivability is going to be your friend and being able to run from one point to another without worrying about much means that hunter will be the class your looking to play. With abilities like camouflage and feign death and having a tank pet at your disposal means solo play will be your greatest attribute.

Well, if it has to be human, the hunter is the way to go. Having a personal tank is very nice, and if it goes south you have feign death to drop aggro.

However, if you’re open to a night elf, the Druid has the stealth and speed, and shadowmeld to drop aggro. And if you run up on something big, you have an actual tank just a switch of spec and gear away.

you want a human lock or bm hunter for ez mode rep grinds

all my reps got maxed on a human pally back when I actually cared about such things

Are locks good for max level grinds? Never actually considered a lock to be honest. Do you have experience with locks?

any pet class will mow through content

my locks health bar rarely moves unless I pull lots of stuff
