Hi. I recently completed the broken shore scenario and armies of the legionfall. The first second I did that I did some quests on the broken shore. At first I thought I had to complete ALL storylines to get to Argus. Then I watched a guy on YouTube who completed the Armies Of The Legionfall and then headed to Dalaran to automatically get The Hands Of Fate quest. The quest that starts the Argus storylines. Then I headed back to Dalaran and I did not get the quest. I checked out Khadgar in the Violet place thingy. All it was was Magic Message, Falling Star and other bunch of useless quests. I did do Falling star once on my lvl 112 Druid. Then it got me back to battle for exodar. The I left the Druid there for some reason to play another class. I searched wowhead to find info to get to Argus. The intro said after the “Battle of Exodar”. So does that mean I must complete that? Or is there something I missed? Please answer me as soon as you can. I’m trying to get those cool void elves. This is getting long lol.
The only requirements to start Argus are to complete the quests to open up the Broken Shore by doing the quests “Armies of Legionfall” and “Assualt on the Broken Shore.” If those are done and Khadgar doesn’t have “The Hand of Fate” in the Violet Citadel, there are only a couple of things I can think of.
The first is that you started the Argus quest chain at some point already. Check to see if there is a beacon to the Vindicaar at Krasus’s Landing. If there isn’t, then you may want to try going to the docks in Stormwind/Orgrimmar to see if you can pick up the quest chain there from Varessa Windrunner/Lady Liadrin. (Keep in mind that some quests might interfere with those two NPCs, so if you haven’t done the BfA intro, or have the Vash’ir intro in your logs, you’ll need to clear those out. The Necklace chain for Anduin from the Broken Shore can also cause Stormwind phasing issues.)
The next thing is that you have a phasing issue. While doing the Exodar battle for the Fallen Star questline isn’t required to start the Argus one, it does create a special phase of Exodar, which might interfere with the Argus start, so if you started it but didn’t finish it, you may need to finish it.
