personally, I think choosing to run with Randos in general is a big mistake. That’s why I don’t do it.
Like I said other times, it’s not a reward as it’s still a net loss in gold.
Why I keep going is because I’m just there for fun. The key level is irrelevant as I’m not there for IO or gear or vault. I’m there just for fun. It was a +10 because I feel like I can still do a fair amount of carrying as a healer that I can’t really feel like I can do on 12+.
They do have insurance.

Sure, for the big stuff. But State Farm does not show up for blown motors, tires, transmissions, gaskets, steering wheel, etc. They don’t fix the paint and the vinyl graphics after every race. If people want to raid and run Mythics, they know the expenses. Same way I have to spend 650g every time I want to change my mog… which is ACTUALLY ridiculous.

I remember pointing out how we are changing our own clothes and paying astronomical prices for it only to be flamed by the community.

Exactly. If they want to break their gear, they can pay to fix their gear. I get ZERO gold reward for Role-playing, so if I have to find a way to supplement my transmog fund. They can do the same.
