I was holding out hope that I could copy my character somewhere after SoD ended, but it’s not looking good. The next best thing would be to let us get a 60 character boost in Anniversary.
You said in your blue post you wanted us to “embark on our next classic adventure”. At least give us a choice on if that is in MoP or Anniversary.

I think they would if TBC anniversary was coming out sooner. Anni players would lose their minds if SoD players got to skip the leveling process.

Good point, didn’t think of that. Idk what the raiding population is like over on those servers, but wouldn’t they appreciate an influx of gamers?
And technically we didn’t skip anything. We just got to 60 on a different version of the game. Arguably an “easier” version of the game, but still we leveled to 60 and killed the first boss of SE to earn the boost. It’s not like we would have bought it.
I would actually much prefer a TBC boost over a MoP boost.
I dont really see why it would be a problem. SoD has been out for 18 months and Anniversary has been out for 6. Just given us regular green gear at 60. Anniversary players would still have all their raid gear, pvp titles and gear, etc. And they get a boost to their populations.

There should be a choice between the two minimum
Problem is that they are literally half a year apart
How much takes levelling on anniversary? Even if you buying boost in dungeons, it is 50-70 hours. Without boosts 100-150 hours. How much it takes to level on sod? 5 hours on invasion boost. Yes, it’s also required to kill the boss, but i think you can also buy it for like 500-1000 gold.
Where are you coming up with these bs numbers?
You realize most, if not all, of us played vanilla/classic as well? We know how long it takes to level to 60. 100-150 hours? gtfo
ummm…wat?
“arguably easier” LMFAO
SoD is pretty much retail leveling, compared to vanilla. Every class super OP and can breeze through questing mobs with 0 challenge; even solo leveling you can go 1-60 in 25-30 hours /played. Or get invasion boosted in 5 hours.
Compared to regular vanilla where it’s 200-225 hours of solo questing and that’s if you’re going fast and trying to be efficient, on a class like hunter or druid.

Even if you’re getting boosted on anniversary it isn’t nearly as fast as sod. You can literally afk 1-60 in like 5 hours on SOD. You are lucky to get more than a few levels on anniversary in that time. I was one of the fastest levelers in my guild even beating dungeon cleavers and was playing a hunter back in 2019 it was literally days of work with barely any sleep to hit 60.
that sounds miserable. even more reasons to avoid anniversary.
Please, if you have 60 level character that levelled in less then 100 hours not using boosts, make a screenshot and post it here. 100 hours is very fast levelling for classic. For most people it’s around 150-200 hours. World first 60 level in classic was still more then 70 hours (3d7h=79h /played). Maybe you FEEL that you spend much less time, but in reality not, just type /played if you have any 60 level character on anniversary
It took my warrior 10 days played in anniversary this time around lmao.
I felt like I was speedrunning and it still took me 7 days played to get to 60 on anniversary without boosts. Not sure where you’re getting 100 hours lol
i want titles to be transferred to ani lol i reeaaallly dont want to rank 14 grind again >.>
You and I both bother. After doing it as a warrior in sod… never again
