I like that mealstorm is returning to mealstorm weapon and the class playstyle.
However please give us a default UI for it.
It’s weird when other secondary resources like holy power, soulshards, combo point have UI elements but we gotta look at the buff bar or download an add-on for it.
You already get a UI warning at 5 stacks telling you to spend, we get 10 stacks as a buffer so we don’t waste potential Maelstrom Weapon procs like we did in WoD.
It even shows each stack you have progressively before it glows and pulses on 5.
A better UI tracker like with holy power would still be welcomed. I know that the old UI elements came back but they stop at 5.
If you want to bank to 10 for a double hailstorm combo, you’ll have to hunt for it on your buff bar.
In PvP I see the point in 10 stack dumping for Turbo Cleave AoE Burst, but in PvE it will be inefficient and a dps loss.
Should be simple enough to make a Weakaura for it if they don’t. I have one for my Lava Shock buff for when I want to burst in Elemental currently when you builds enough Maelstrom also eg. Stormkeeper > Fire Ele > Lava Burst > Earth Shock > Lightning Bolt > (Lava Burst if Lava Surge goes off) > Earth Shock > Lightning Bolt (this surge of power burst)
That depends on the situation and how long the fight goes on. Saving mealstorm to burst AoE down mobs with a hailstorm buff could be more beneficial, especially if you won’t have enough mealstorm to do a next hailstorm or are using ice strike to chain frost shocks.
Especially since lighting bolt and chain lightning is so weak atm.
I stated that in my post. It would be nice to have one that you wouldn’t need to download an add-on for.
