Its literally every game now. A paladin runs in and pulls the warmasters to the watterfall and then jumps down causing them to path all the way around giving the alliance enough time to down drek without taking any towers or objectives. THIS IS EXPLOITING! How can it not be? You’re causing an npc to path around something you easily just hopped off of because its an npc and can’t take the same path as a player can. You would think a warmaster would have no problem hopping down a 10 foot waterfall but nope they gotta run all the way around and before they even get half way to the paladin drek is dead and another 7 minute loss for the horde happens. This needs to be fixed very fast. Fix the warmasters to run down the waterfall or implement punishments for players doing this.
Also let’s fix the one where horde can effortlessly glitch the alliance bunker and evade bug all of the adds, burning down Van even if the alliance controls every bunker on the map with complete safety.
Not an exploit. Marshals/warmasters in classic were specifically not leashed to Vann or Drek.
Both factions can single pull.
Alliance do have it somewhat easier with paladins but everyone has to be coordinated and not touch anything or aoe at all for it to work.
Horde can do the prospector trick, use hunter eyes of the beast, or get a mage or two with limited invulnerability potions to kite them out and away.
While we are at it:
why don’t we make it so hunters can’t solo princess and dm runs.
Why don’t be nerf mage ZF zombie runs and DM N 1st boss kills. (You ever see that 1st boss kited along the Wall?)
Why don’t we need DM E jump runs…I mean the mobs can’t jump down with us…
Why don’t we make it so General Drak in UBRS chains to his adds instead of being kitable?
While your at it why don’t we change the mechanic of every mob in WoW so they can now scale terrain like players can.
OR…maybe since you are so aware of the problem and you are obviously watching the paladin do it, try killing the pally, or get a mage to sheep him? Or fear him before he hits the waterfall? Or play defense…thatis if you are watching this actually happen which is the ony way you truly know it’s happening…
I do AV all day and I can tell you I have not seen this happen once. I could however fill a library full of screenshots of 7 minute alliance wins from the paladin exploit.
I admit, it’s going to be funny watching the mental gymnastics the allies use to justify this.
Pallies can bubble…free action pots exist…Limited invuln pots exist…

AV is full of terrain bugs everywhere…I can get to your west tower without going through your choke point, you can pull Van with some funny hunter stuff and the nearby mine…
Funny how you managed to type this immediately after saying “both factions can solo pull” without mentioning the circumstances needed for horde to do it.
Single idiot out of 40 people? Solo pull no longer possible.
Crit the prospector at 16%? Solo pull no longer possible.
It’s infinitely easier for alliance to exploit pretty much everything in AV except the backdoor… which zergs dont need. Once alliance can begin to be honest about that, their comments might begin to be taken seriously.

I’m acknowledging the fact that alliance have paladins which is just an extra option to warmaster pull.
Edit: The single idiot problem is the exact same for the alliance as well believe me.
Half this argument centers around the fact that there is a class that has an ability to make him immune for a certain amount of time. Period end of story. It’s an ability we have as an alliance character that horde do not have. Sorry, but we don’t complain about not having windfury for our rag hand users all the time
I guess people forgot that horde in classic are especially easy mode in just about every conceivable way. They didn’t even give us the AV that favors alliance.

Nope. You’re completely wrong. IT IS an exploit. They know the warmasters will path around the waterfall when they jump down it. Knowing this they pull them and jump off causing the npcs to do something that gives the alliance an unfair and exploitative advantage in the game. The warmasters should jump down and attack the paladins when they jump which is realistic. What is not realistic is the warmasters running all the way around after the paladin jumps so they buy the alliance time to burn Drek without the elites and without any objectives.

If you want to be super safe like we do on alliance with paladin pulling, get a second mage to rank 1 AE to keep threat on the warmasters/marshals so when the first puller dies threat switches to the next player.

Players use terrain to direct npcs to specific paths in instances ALL THE TIME. How is it any different now that there is a pvp aspect to it?
