Neither do I, I recently resubbed but couldn’t access my old account, BE, Human, and NE are chefs kiss. Mag’har and Orc and Kultiran are all really solid too, you can just tell the same kind of love didn’t go into making these.
I’d argue the Troll set is the worse of the two since it isn’t taking primary inspiration from a single source the Draenei but instead got thrown into a blender along with the creativity of an intern and pooped out of an elephant.
I really want to tinker around with the Draenei set to see if I can make it work with anything but haven’t gotten a chance, the helmet is abyssmal. I guess the shoulders wouldn’t really go with the whole red look you got going?
There’s a very high likelihood we won’t hear so much as a peep about this officially. They’ve brushed bigger things under the rug for longer *cough PvP.
I really like the troll heritage armor, but the Drenai one makes no sense and is super ugly. I feel like the Drenai are more of a WoW themed Protoss race that should appear either nomadic as if they were running from the legion, or completely plate clad with purple crystals like the light forged set.
True. I do have Orc and M’Orc at 70, but haven’t really checked out the sets, as these were boosted and probably my lowest priority toons. Kul’tiren set looks great as well.
Funnily enough when I saw your mask the first thing I thought of was Protoss. Idk know about allied races but I think for the core races you can get the heritage sets with a trial character, I could be mistaken and if you don’t have another you’re gonna use it’d be pretty pointless.
Yeah the fact they managed to not put out a statement on the neglect of PvP for this long is shameful. Blizz has become the gran master of ducking responsibility for their mistakes and these heritage sets won’t be any different.
The original concept art actually captured that nomad vibe then they tried to meet somewhere in the middle it’s not that bad but feels a little off. Their helm on the other hands clipping off their horns makes no sense at all.
Still better than turning the nose upside down, covering it, slapping 3 layers of fabrics on it then stretching it into a trunk. Troll mask looks ridiculous.
I don’t think they’re going to let up, they’ve got so many projects going on they forced this piece of junk through at the worst possible time for us to hope to see changes.
I will never let up about this. Truly terrible. I wonder what other heritage armor got alot of heat? Tbh i think this is the worst one with the most negative feedback.
I think the 2nd worse was worgen maybe? I dont mind the draeni one tbh ive seen alot of cool things done with it
The Nightborn belt had major problems and needed to be fixed but this Troll set is arguably worse than the Worgen set, we got screwed too, our set got tons of flack rightly so. This Troll set is just a lazy cheap cop-out and it warrants a fix.
Ya and ESPECIALLY since troll masks are like a critical and important lore piece of culture. The one thing we really wanted was a proper bandana and a full wood mask that fits nicely. But no we got elephant trucks and a sword.
To be fair I’d still say that Troll one is better, becuase besides the hat the rest is pretty useable.
But Worgen got colors completely off and entire set is rather underwhelming. And Artrocious questline. I’m so sorry
Yeah we just gotta keep at it until they’re done fixing all the stuff they broke and try to get them to see reason because this kind of work just shouldn’t fly.
I quite like my Draenei heritage. My biggest complaint though are the shoulder pieces. They are made to fit the chest piece, but if you transmog with other armour, there’s a huge gap between my shoulders and the pieces, so my shoulder pieces are floating above my shoulders with an obvious gaping space in between.
