It’s just the current “heritage” armours look nothing like you would envision for a race. The Nelf one is abysmal at best; the women look stupid and with chunky thigh plates. The orc one is okay? I guess. But the current Draenei looks nothing like anything we’ve ever seen in game and I’m not sure why every race needs to have cargo shorts as pants. And the velf nonsense? How… how.
Actually, I take it back. The Sin’dorei one is pretty good and the LF one is good. That’s it.
I really like the Zandalari Heritage. I often use it or incorporate it’s parts to the mog. I’d say that Dark Iron was also very fitting.
Fair enough, I’m glad you’re happy with it, to be honest I don’t personally have a dog in the fight for the Draenei set but from what I can tell a lot of people are really bummed out about it and I can see why. The Trolls on the other hand I’ve been a huge fan of their style since the RTS and this just ain’t it.
Really hope they come to their senses and put their best foot forward.

I have one DS troll that I’ll be rerolling for Remix, and he’s a monk so will likely never wear the heritage, however…I have to agree about the helm…horrid.
As for draenei…I was hopeful it would be cool so my hunter could wear it…but sadly…I don’t like most of it. Might sport the shoulders if I can match it with another outfit that will look right on my hunter, otherwise, I’ll get it but never wear it, especially the helm. /shrug
I’m really flabbergasted, I’m just scratching my head wondering who looked at this and gave it the green light? Whether it be the designer or who? Multiple people? I just can’t wrap my head around what the thought process is behind shoveling this out the door.
Honestly the AI theory does kinda make sense, they just let the machine do the work and said “send it through, we don’t have time for this.”
Both I and the Manari wife agreed we would not be going after that Draenei heritage set XD. On men it’s kinda alright, but only just. But on the ladies? Just… no.
It really feels like the only silver lining here is the Quest Chains and if a similar level of effort was put into these I think i’ll be more disappointed than I was with the cosmetics, since at the end of the day they can fix cosmetics there’s no way they’re retconning any lore flops or going back and adding things they didn’t think of to tie off loose ends.
That would imply they’re actually going to fix these

Yeah I can’t imagine the same level or effort went into these sets as those ones. I’ve got no issues with them using different designers for different sets but the level of skill and passion should be similar across the board or you end up with stuff like this.

The Draenei set isn’t too bad though I agree it needs a little more flash to it. They are champions of the light and the color scheme is just… well… dull. I am also sad to see that it does not compliments horns or hooves in any way.
Yeah the lack of hoof ornamentation was surprising to me also, I’d say it’s the elephant in the room but… ahh… That’d be the Troll mask
