Hi BLIZZARD
Can someone please stop ignoring this and fix the oceanic day/night cycle problem? I am on the Caelestrasz server and would like it to be daytime when I’m playing during the day and night time when I’m playing at night, like ANY OTHER DECENT MMO. Please do your damn job and fix this issue.
Its 1:1 with real time but heres the kicker, its synced to NA time so we dont ever get daylight unless we are up at night.
Its a simple solution that Blizz could easily fix but they dont and have ignored the OCE community on this for years now

its supposed to be an oceanic server, why not sync it to oceanic time??? Makes sense and would be the decent and good thing to do 
They were, then they enabled cross server play with US realms and because it would be jarring for US players who came across to have it switch from day to night and vice versa our in game cycle was matched to the US one.
Im going to paraphrase here but back when CS used to talk to us on the OCE Gen Discussion, we were told “We could do a simple solution where the skybox matches your time but that would lead to wierd things like guards walking around with torches during the day, so we wont do that”
and that was pretty much it.
But as a final up yours to us, they did add in a toy on a 24 hour CD that changes night to day, and some sand but unlike the inky black potion which can be bought just for a few silver, the sand costs Timewalking tokens.
Its just one of the many things Blizz did to show that the only people they have the slightest inkling to give any kind of support to is North American players.
Anyone outside of that continent is filth and basically exists to subsidise NA players sub cost
As a Classic player where Day/Night is properly synced to AEST, it’s so weird that the modern version of WoW has this problem.
probably cos they’re so greedy they want people to play Classic and lure in as many people as possible while not bothering to do the right thing and fix the normal game cos they’re so bad at their jobs
Blizz runs this place like a casino. It never gets dark so the players keep playing
