Please fix Penance’s (AU) population problem! The shrinking population is making it increasingly difficult to play the game as an ‘MMO’. There’s got to be something that can be done. I know plenty of people who play on the server feel the same. We don’t want to have to restart on another populated server. Months of progress will go down the drain! I have noticed that Shadow Strike PvP (AU) is getting low in pop, too. Isn’t there any way to merge the OCE servers and allow people to opt out of PVP? Something similar to the locking buff for STV? And speaking of the STV event, what is that? On Penance, its a ghost town, no one does it. The one or two people who do want to do it, every three hours, have to kill mobs in the zone to get blood coins!
Or, give us the option to transfer to a higher-population US server (free transfers for a dying server). I played on Wild Growth just now, and at 1 a.m. server time, there were more people in Stormwind than the total population of Penance!
AH scans for Penance are around 3k total auctions, and Wild Growth has almost 11k!
Please, do something! I beg you!
What is the problem? That the pop is too low?
Sorry, I pushed enter before writing my post >.>

The issue with your idea of opting out of PvP is that you’re basically turning shadowstrike into a pve server because the minority population wants to come play with those on the PvP server which is kind of ridiculous. I feel like the only solution would be to allow for transfers to shadowstrike and also to another us pve realm if you wanted to straight up close penance.

ive seen a few people from penance posting this some nonsense and expecting them to just make shadowstrike a pve server because they want it, there is like 200 ppl on penance and like 8k on shadowstrike, its such and entitled and selfish mentality, there is a reason the pve oce server has no one on it and the pvp one does. I agree with you, let them transfer pve US server instead whats 200ms ping when you are clicking spells and only doing dungeons anyway.

You missed my whole point. I don’t want them to make SS into a PvE server—quite the opposite. I’m not entitled; I am looking for a way for me and many others to play the game with a more fluent population. You say there is a reason the PvE server has low pop and the PVP one does, so what is it? If you’re trying to say that PvP is superior, why are there many US PvE servers with a very high population? All I want is more people to do content with, and I am reaching out in hopes that someone at Blizzard sees it.
End of the day you rolled on a PVE realm expecting it to maintain it’s population when we all know PVE servers, specially seasonal ones die
The problem with Penance is that Blizz are killing SoD with their lack of care and balancing, so an already low pop server (due to being PVE and also OCE) is just dying quicker.
You really need to just come to Shadow Strike and put up with the toxic world PVP - it’s not that bad here compared to US servers. The population is down, but it’s still alive enough.
I don’t think there’s anything they can do about Penance, other than merging with Shadowstrike and something like warmode, or merging you with a US realm.
Warmode is unlikely to happen, and the merge would leave you with horrible pings.
What’s it like on SS? Can you log on for an hour and do some questing or farming without being ganked every five minutes?
If you keep out of Ashenvale incursions you’ll be fine.
The world is dead and empty, levelling is pretty much a free pass.

Just want to that whoever edited my previous post changing the word die to something else.
idiots
You’re asking for a way to toggle PvP on and off which is exactly what a pve server is. There is no toggle on PvP servers.
