Now there is no real excuse anymore. All the technology is there and they HAVE been used on OTHER races multiple times.
Some of the Shal’dorei in Suramar have glowing hair. Glowing hairstyles were only given to Void Elves and Dark Irons in BFA. The Nightborne players don’t have the option.
The Shal’dorei all have a squint in their eyes. Now Blizzard has shown their ability to change facial structures and squinted eyes will be given to Humans in Shadowlands. Nightborne players won’t have the option.
There are a few other skintones the Shal’dorei have seen in Suramar, including a fel-touched one. (That would be awesome for the Nightborne warlocks.)
I also wanted to bring up my issues with the heritage armor, and how I’d like a mail, plate and leather option, but that would have to apply to all races as well, which would actually be lots more work.
BUT- There IS a red heritage armor recolor that has been datamined long ago. Multiple armor colors have only been given to Mag’har. I’m proud the Nightborne came to Horde. Let me express it with some red armor! Also give us a robeless option like you did with the blood elves!
In general, Nightborne lack customization the most out of any allied race, and soon ALL races. Blizz, I know you aren’t planning on adding customization to the allied races, but please, please consider working on them.

Lightforged are on par.
That being said…
I want to see real Nightborne faces, not these crappy ones we got! They should never have gone live without proper Nightborne faces.

Could we get the glowing hands too?
Always thought that looked sweet.

The literal upper echelon of Night Elf society doesn’t have more facial options besides “Old, ugly and scary” for the males. Compared to the Night Elves… who some have survived for 10k years as well, don’t look as old or ugly.
I was really excited for Nightborne and leveled one up to max when they first came out. This was the Highborne I wanted. Finally… I could be this cream of the crop, RP as a jerk, talk down to literally any NPC because “Shut up I’m a Highborne.” A true Highborne, unlike the Blood Elves who’ve changed, but kept their sass.
Why don’t the Nightborne look regal? They look goofy, especially the men. Seriously the men look so bad.
I hope they change this. It completely warps the fantasy that lore said I would have. Lore told me that Highborne were beautiful and elegant, masters of arcane and took themselves way too seriously. They captured that in Suramar, but it didn’t transfer over to the allied race that I played.

I thought about those. They’d be cool, but im not sure it could be put on to player characters. But the more customization the better

Sure they could. They’d probably have to adjust it to fit the botched models, but they’d have to do that with the glowing hair too. Just make them a cosmetic glove option.

Blizz should take this opportunity and fix Nightborbe and Night Elves while they’re at it since they using almost the same model.
Is unfair that Nightborne never came with their Suramar model.

Not actually a ‘true’ Highborne. Those are Night Elf mages that joined the alliance and their ghosts that litter the world.
Please. Where is the glowey hair/fingertips? The shoulders made of flowing mana? The eye squints??
And fix heritage armor. It seems like if you aren’t wearing the robe, it’s an incomplete set. The pants, feet, gloves, and belt all look odd/boring without the robe. The robe should be broken up a bit and make the other parts of the set look interesting on their own.
Like, the pants are literally just purple pants. Same with gloves and boots. But if you look at the robe, it has interesting assets around those areas.
To know what I’m talking about, look at full heritage set, then take off the chest piece. Its like they put all the best parts on the chest piece. Everything else besides the shoulders are boring. It’s terrible if you don’t want to run around in a dress.

They need higher resolution hair with glowing arcane strands, glowing arcane hands and feet, jewelry options, better earrings and face jewelry, slanted eyes like every suramar npc in all of WoW, arcane tattoos you can brighten so you can actually see them while playing in game, and lastly more faces that don’t look over 100 years old; seriously there is only one decent male face for nightborne. Out of all the races in game, Nightborne is the race that needs the most help in terms of customization.

I too was always very excited about them. This has been my main since I unlocked them. It’s been so disappointing that they have such a lack luster appearance. Their tattoos are such a missed opportunity. They could have made them more glory and arcane. They are so subtle right now they don’t show. It’s why as soon as shadow lands comes out I’m switching to undead. The new fantastic customization options for them are so fun. I would totally stay with them if I had a reason. The heritage armor looks like a dang quilt. They created this amazing race and then phoned it in on the player options.

We can say for sure that almost nobody cares about nightbornes lol.
Well yeah, Blizzard made them look horrible so no one plays them, therefore no one cares. They still shouldn’t have released them in such a sorry state and then left them like this.

Yeah, I understand that they are giving core races an uplift… Void Elves included
… But c’mon Blizz the Nightborne really need a face lift ASAP. We need all the options the NPCs have… Even the narrowed eyes.
I still stand by the point that our biggest issue is lack of transmogs.
You walk around Suramar and the place has an amazing aesthetic, the clothes, the weapons, the city, it’s that nightelf feel that people fell inlove with.
Then I make one myself, and theres no possible way I can replicate that feel, I tried, and still look like just a mess. Nightborne have perhaps the most distinct style of all races and thats just not available to us.
New customisations would be cool, but most of the time its covered by transmogs anyway, so when we lack the transmogs to actually feel like our own race its a bit of an issue.
