Its super unfun that battlegrounds are literally determined by who has more arcane mages
Here is a simple hotfix that will balance them and take literally 10 seconds of coding
Arcane mages get a debuff in bgs that reduces damage by 40 percent.
Boom fixed

Arcane Mages kicking your butt sounds like a you problem. Have you considered using an Interrupt? They have one school of magic they can cast. If you’re dying to them, it sounds like you need to… as the young folks say… get good.

Ret paladins rebuke doesn’t exist till like level 40 something

That’s a valid point that I hadn’t considered.
Arcane mages are good for something so nerf them?
If you can’t interrupt them as melee you should be nerfed out of the game.
How do you interrupt when the spell doesn’t unlock to a certain level
She has a valid point, not the nerf though but the interrupts yes
And which class has no interrupt? Maybe if you have no interrupt try not getting in their face and you can just move out of range when you see that 2 second cast coming.
Hunters don’t interrupt till level 32
Druids can’t interrupt till level 70
Her case: monks can’t interrupt till level 32
Even after level 60 arcane mages become trivial because damage finally settles down due to everyone has a more spells to do
Doesn’t just attacking them stop the ability to cast blast? Well except for void elf mages. In any case, I really can’t see them being a problem.
I have heard that statement ‘the side that has more ‘x’ is the side that wins’ in relation to so many things already it really just sounds like sour grapes at this point.
Also, I just leveled up a druid they don’t get skull bash until 70 but they get other things earlier.

Nah arcane mages are literal gods at low levels. I made two and it’s just sit there, spam arcane missles and get top damage. If any melee come near you, just ice nova move and arcane them to death.
The lack of cc and mobility really makes them the new op low level spec.
Well Shadowlands has all the classes changed anyway.
Tbh it doesn’t matter either. If arcane gets nerfed some other class will become the new god of low levels.
In cata till mop it was hunters because they could kite easily and deal heavy damage Quickly without ever getting caught.
