Please Fix Hidden Mechanic Spells Like Nether Precision

I am not a mage main, but want to play more mage. I am a multi-classer that likes to get KSM and AoTC on multiple characters.

I really want to like mage, but I do the worst dps on it. I read the guides and watch the videos, but the rotations have too much nuance. I think abilities with hidden mechanics like nether precision are a big reason why. Each spec has some hidden mechanic.

I get that mage mains want skill expression. But I think when that comes as a result of a non-obvious mechanic that misses the mark.

Hate to break it to you but that isn’t why you’re doing bad damage on a mage. You can screw that spell mechanic up all you like and it’ll barely make a difference. Go and do some dungeons and raid bosses and prove it to yourself how much of a difference it makes or are you just going to make a post about something without actually seeing with your own eyes first

OP isn’t exclusively complaining about Nether Precision, they’re just using it as an example. They even state that Fire and Frost also have similar issues.
And it’s a totally valid complaint.

But pop off I guess, defending a literal bug is very healthy for the Mage class.

Yeah alright and if you think any small nuance of a spec is what’s causing the problem for your lack of dps than it doesn’t really matter either way. So asking for it to be fixed is just trolling. If you want the tooltips updated to represent exactly what each ability does and interact with each other that’s fine. Im sure if everyone knew before hand it wouldn’t even be spoken about right now

They probably should make Nether Precision more apparent within the default UI. But that’s a criticism of WoW across the board, that they rely on add-ons like Weakauras to do the heavy lifting required rather than an intuitive interface.

Asking for a
:mega: LITERAL BUG :mega:
To be fixed or at least documented if they’re making the conscious decision to leave the bug in-place is now trolling?

What an absolute absurd opinion.

Come on, it’s literally just queueing a Barrage after 2nd cast of Arcane Blast, it’s not hard and it’s good for the spec’s rotation and flow, while also helping less skilled players manage mana by default.
