I’ve have been playing exclusively Augmentation since it released and have been following it on PTR since it was announced and wanted to put up some feedback that I pray get answered. This is just the things i’ve noticed with the spec that could use some work. The spec overall is very fun, and honestly deserves nerfs for how good it is. I don’t wish for the core rotation or any of the abilities to change, I just want some design choices for how priorities work to be changed.

Ebon Might should never in a raid circumstance, be able to select another Augmentation Evoker when automatically selecting targets when all your DPS are still up. Why is it like this now. Augmentation should not be considered a DPS during priority checks. It feels incredibly bad when during a pull in raid, you look at who is receiving your buffs and there is another Augmentation in there. Even while actively attempting to stay far away from each other, there is no way to prevent it to happen and it will more than likely happen multiple times in a pull unless you are lucky. It feels even worse when its for an upcoming Breath of Eons window and you are forced to either use the ability and be content with the fact that your DPS on the button is going to be worse, or wait to use the button and potentially lose an entire use throughout the fight. No other DPS spec in the game actively becomes worse because you have more than one. If you have 2 augmentations, and there are 5 DPS in between them. The one of the two Augmentation evokers is guarenteed to take the others Ebon Might. Please change this so that Augmentation is not considered a “Powerful Ally” when selecting targets.

This one is a minor gripe, but make it so that the less players that currently have your Ebon Might buff when it is up, the more personal damage you deal. Augmentation suffers heavily in open world content if other players aren’t around actively helping you, and lets be honest. That is not happening very often. Even if it is minor, a 10-15% buff to the Ebon Mights personal damage gain will go a long way in helping Augmentation be able to clear world content without having to find other players to assist them. This would coincidently also help in m+ content where occasionally a players dies during a boss, so you get some return on them dying rather than it just be a large dps loss for the remainder of the fight. Not saying Augmentation needs any help in M+ as they are already doing far too well and deserve nerfs there.

Please for the love of gods fix logging. Pets are not counted (Hunter, Unholy DK, Demo Lock). Instances of damage based on total damage is not counting (Ignite from Fire Mage, Master Marksman for MM hunter) . Damage from damage duplication is not counting (Touch of the Magi for Arcane, Psychic Link for Priest). I understand the spec is new, but how am I as a player supposed to look at logs and where i’m supposed to improve when I can’t tell how much damage I am actually contributing. I don’t care about details not showing my damage, but I would like to be able to look at logs and see who is best to buff without having inflated numbers on other DPS because hooks are not properly working. I understand that this is probably being worked on, but not being informed on the progress of how this is going is very frustrating.
