ya my macros are all messed up, please fix the /click macro function…

Also, on Mac computer, I can’t use CMD + ` (the button to the left of 1) any more. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Unfortunately this is an elimination of the use of /click to circumvent maximum macro size with the 11.0 engine API.

Macros cannot be any longer than 255 characters. There were previously ways around this limit with add-ons, or by chaining macros together with /click, but those have been eliminated in 11.0

99% certain we will not be getting it back, and trust me it was a surprise for me also, I have some rather interesting setups that no longer operate.

Its time for us to simply adapt because I doubt its ever coming back.

Many of the macro maps we could build via /click can be done in other ways; consult the Macro / UI forum; there are a lot of really good helpful people there.

Be very clear with what you’re trying to accomplish; generally there is a way around your problem that you may not have considered.

I use /click on my warrior because i want to be able to include a separate macro for doing a weapon swap. This greatly improves QOL when you get a weapon update to your macro, you simple update that one macro and you are done.

Without this, now i need to update (and hit character limits in some macros) all my macros that perform weapon swaps to provide that functionality. It is brutal…

I truly understand, I weapon and gear swap on paladin a lot more than you would think, I also do on rogue as well because different weapons and even oddball weapons are used for poison application. I found out the hard way a few days ago that my maps are not working.

I have reworked many macros but weapon swaps are now fully manual macros; annoying but its what I am doing for now. The change is TILTING, but I also understand why they’re doing it because in truth we really should not have been able to circumvent the macro character limit in the first place, so I consider it annoying for sure, but at the same time at least they’re making us play by the rules.

HOWEVER, I temper this all with they had by god better be banning the people using bots / scripts to apply their damage, abilities, CC, kicks, etc, because if they don’t then we the real players who’re not cheating are now at a tremendous disadvantage.
